Hello, readers! This story is the first one on this account (obviously, why am I even telling you this), and this fanfic has two authors, so if one writing style is a just a little bit different from another, well... ¯\_()_/¯ You know why. This is also based in an AU (alternate universe) where they are not famous, and Mark has cool rainbow hair and tattoos and Jack wears glasses, has brown hair. You get the point. I'm gonna stop rambling on so you can read the fanfic >~<

MARK'S P.O.V.
Mark takes a deep breath and walks into the coffee shop, walking up to the front.

"Why hello there, darlin'," the lady at the register said with a heavy southern accent. "What can I get'cha?"

"U-uh..." Mark looked down at the ground nervously, stuttering his way through the order. "A c-carmel frappe, p-please..."

"Comin' right up." She walked to the back to tell the others the order.

Mark looked around the coffee shop, and his eyes stopped at a man reading a book.

Mark watched as the man put the book down, and his eyes went wide. This guy was cute. Not your average attractive cute, but literally fucking adorably attractive. Especially with his glasses. He couldn't seem to look away, he hoped he wasn't making it obvious with his facial expressions. But wow. Hm..was someone calling his name...?

"Excuse me, SIR." The lady from the register said for the 15th time, trying to get his attention. "Your frappe." She glanced at the man reading the book. Was she smirking?

"Oh, uh.. T-thanks.." He took the frappe and turned, trying to hurry away.

"Sir." She said again . "You forgot to pay."

He cursed under his breath.

He walked towards the cashier, tripping over someone's dog, and fumbled with his wallet and almost dropping it before giving the money to the cashier, who was now smiling. "Thank ya, darlin'. Have a nice day."

He gave her an awkward smile, and looked around at all the tables, which were all filled. Everyone was looking at him. He didn't know what to do. He hated attention being drawn to him. Where the hell was he supposed to sit?
