How Things Started

Flashback

"I'm scared to tell her bro. What if she doesn't feel the same way? Then, I'm gonna sit there and look stupid"
I said talking to Justin

"Chris... If you really want something, you have to go after it. You gotta go after my sis man. I know you want her... Everyone sees the Chemistry between you two. Stop being a wuss and tell her how you feel."
Justin said persuading me to confess my feelings to Jay

"I can't do it right now. I just can't. Maybe tomorrow. I'm not ready."
I said getting up preparing to walk to the Big House to check on some people

"Alright ... You better hope one of the guys don't have her by tomorrow. We all know some other boys are fond of her and would "talk" to her in a heartbeat. But, that's on you."

"Never mind ... I guess I can do it. Keep hopes up for me."

I said walking away from Justin towards Jay's house

"Yes!! That's my bro! Handle your business man!"
Justin yelled to me with a huge smile plastered on his face and as I chuckled at his silliness

I walked up to her doorstep and knocked on the door. A minute later, she opened it standing in a red over-sized shirt and her hair in a neat bun.

"Ummm hey Chris ... Come in"

She said it sounding nervous. I don't know why she was nervous. I should be the one nervous. We walked to her room and sat down on the bed. I looked on the walls admiring the pictures she drew of nature.

"Nice drawings... I didn't know you could draw"

"Well yea, I kinda do that when I get bored. So what's up? Is there something you need?"
She asked me as I started to tense up. I turned to face her.

"Jay... U-ummm... I wanted to talk to you about something."

"Sure Chris wassup?"

I looked down at her hands. I couldn't think straight. I started getting butterflies in my stomach when I felt a warm hand touch my arm

"Chris, do you feel the butterflies too?"

I looked at her and smirked because she read my mind

"Yea I do... You feel them?"

"Yes, I've been feeling them lately. But, it only happens when you come around."

I looked up at her a saw a beautiful smile appear on her face. I took my thumb and brushed it against her cheek.

"Chris I feel different when I'm around you."

"I wanted to talk to you about that... I don't know if you feel the same but for a while, I've developed some deep feelings for you. The way you talk, the way you dress, the way you smile, that crazy laugh of yours, and the way you carry yourself just makes me feel some type of way."

I grabbed her hand and I saw her blush hard. That means this is working.

"I care about you a lot. I wanted to kn---"

I was cut off by her hugging me tightly. It was abrupt but I wasn't complaining. Just holding her in my arms made me think about what we could be.

"I'm sorry I cut you off. I needed to do this. Now, Continue with what you were saying.

She said still holding on to me

"It's cool baby girl"

I knew she would feel some type of way at me calling her that. I felt her heartbeat speed up at that word.

"I wanted to know if... You know... You wanted to give me and you a chance? Maybe we could be something."

She let me go and looked at me smiling

"Sure Chris... Of course we can try. I feel the same way. I just didn't wanna seem thirsty and ask you too quick. In all actuality, I was nervous to tell you how I felt. I told myself I was gonna tell you tomorrow, but you came today. Made it even better."

She said laughing

"So does this make us official?"
I asked getting some clarification

"Yes, I'm yours now"

I took her chin in between my thumb and my fingers and kissed her. I felt her smile in between the kiss.

"Chris that was my first kiss."

She said looking down acting shy

"Well I'm glad I got to be your first and second and third."

Then, I kissed her 2 more times

"Oh my gosh Chris"

She said as we shared a laugh

I finally got her to be mines 💙
