Chapter 5.

Until the dawn-
My alarm blared. Before it could complete the sentence I threw my phone across the room and ducked my face back in the pillow. A few seconds later realisation hit me. I understood what I just did.

Oh my poor baby.

I got up with a jolt. Congratulations you finally woke up.

I went to check if my phone was okay. I cracked it's screen but luckily it was still working.

Mornings are really tough for me.

I entered the bathroom brushed and got freshened up. I was so hungry .

I smelled waffles as I made my way down. Wow. The best part about mornings are breakfast.

As I continued eating , my sister questioned me "Who was the hot guy who picked you up yesterday?" I did not miss the wink that she sent .

My face turned 50 shades of red.

I Still remember the feeling that kiss gave me , not just the kiss. His touch itself was enough to get my knees weak. His scent was something I couldn't get enough of. His arms felt like home. He felt like home.

Afterall sometimes home doesn't have to be four walls but simply two arms.

She cleared her throat looking at my red face that could easily pass for a tomato at this point.

"He's just a friend ." I said and continued eating.

"He's hot though" She winked again.

I know.

I decided to change the topic .
"Where's aunt Sydney ?"
"At the clinic" She said avoiding eye contact.
"And uncle?" Her face looked sad for a fraction of a second but she covered it up almost instantly.
"He-he's gone t-to Florida to meet his cousins." He stuttered a bit .

I played with Sarah for a while when my phone beeped. I quickly checked my Inbox . It was him.

I quickly did a happy dance and then opened the message.

"Wanna come over? I'll show you my pack house" It read.

I beamed with excitement.

"Okay cool." I instantly texted.

"Be ready in 10" He replied.

Quickly putting my phone to get charged I ran to my room.
I changed into a pair of skinny jeans and wore a blue checks shirt.
I ran the comb through my hair. Applied my sunscreen , my Eyeliner and my baby lips.

I applied my Victoria's secret perfume and got going.

*** Exactly 10 minutes later***

His audi made its way to the front of my house again. Luckily my sister had gone to school and Sarah was with the nanny.

He flashed his trillion dollar smile.

He reached his hand out to hold mine. I felt the familiar tingles . Again. I think I can get used to this.

As we entered his car. We drove to the pack house.

IT WAS HUGE.

He parked the audi with many many many more cars.

I was speechless . I must've not Seen so many cars in my entire life. Not even in a showroom.

He knocked on the huge mansion's doors. Within a few seconds, a young girl opened the door. She had short brown hair. She looked scared. She immediately bowed down . "Welcome Alpha. " And disappeared.

He looked like he was lost. He stared at nothing in particular . I shook him. "Are you okay?" I asked him.

He nodded and said that he was mind linking his pack to assemble down.

Mind link? That sounds so cool.

Slowly I saw people gathering around. There were MANY people. They all looked inquisitive. Some had questioning looks on their faces , while some had looks of excitement , some teen girls just gave me bored looks and some even looks of jealousy. I noticed a small group of people standing in a corner. They never opened their mouth. Their gaze was fixed to her floor. Alison later told me that they were the omegas . The lowest rank.

Oh poor thing. They do not deserve to be treated like that.

Alison cleared his throat and said
"Today I've asked everyone to gather here for a special reason and that is" He took a pause and looked at me with a genuine smile that for the GodKnowsWhich time gave me butterflies . He continued "I found my mate. Her name is Kesha and she's your luna ." Having that said all the people started clapping their hands and had genuine smiles on their face. I blushed.

Alison introduced me to a few pack members and His parents. He also told me that He had two older brothers who were not present at the moment . They were out of the country. They had no interest in the 'Alpha business' which is why they did not take up the alpha title.

I was meeting these people for the first time and I already felt an attachment with them.

"Oh my God! I'm so glad to meet you. I finally have a daughter." Alison's mom , Lara said to me , engulfing me in a hug.

His dad however did not look very happy.

He took me to the pack grounds and showed me his territory.

All the time that I was out with him I couldn't shake the feeling of being watched. I looked around but found no one other than my handsome mate.

"So how'd you like the pack?"

Amazing.

"It's wonderful."

There stood the silver moons luna with her mate . With the alpha . He didn't deserve this title.

They looked happy together.

Happiness was something that I hadn't felt in years. All I felt was hurt and ignorance . I deserved better than that scum.

I continued staring at them. The happy couple.

It won't last for long BROTHER.
