Patrick Stump...

24 September 1975: Heaven

"That was a bad move Stump." Ryan says to me. I feel like I'm guilty of something, I just can't remember what it is. Ryan walks me down the long corridor. All the way to Michael's office. I don't really want to see him, he can be really weird sometimes.

"I wish I remembered what I did..." I trail off. My head hurts pretty bad and I can't see all that well. I'm pretty sure I lost my glasses. "Ryan, what did I do?"

"You hunted a demon on your own. You know you couldn't have handled it!" Ryan scolds me. He gives me disappointed glare, but his expression softens at my shameful expression. "Stop pouting, that'll cause wrinkles. Just, put on a smile and apologise to Michael, even if you don't know what you did. Okay?"

"I got it Ryro!" I smile happily at the tall Angel, before being pushed into a bright maroon room.

"Patrick, I see you are still dazed from your hunt." His Australian accent from his vessel shown through. He gestures for me to sit down.

"I'm sorry for going out on my own, Michael. It was very irresponsible of me and my duties to protect my charges, and my charges only." I apologise to the multicoloured ArchAngel. Michael gives me judging look, but smiles and just shops me away saying: "Okay then, have fun with your gay best friend!"

"Patrick!" Ryan rushes to  my side, slipping my black rimmed glasses onto my head. Everything is so clear now.
"Thanks, Ryan!"I smile as a pink haired blur rushes past us. Ryan scoffs at the blur before pulling me behind him. Ryan never really liked Alex.

"Hey Patty!" Alex falls onto a heap in front of us. His eyes turn into a glare, aimed at Ryan. But his sole reappears when he makes contact with me. "What's up?"

"Well, nothing at the moment. What to hang out?" I say hopefully. I love going down to the mortal world, I heard Elvis should be playing soon. And he should also be joining us up here, soon.

"Fuck yeah! Why would I skip out on a cutie such as yourself?" Alex flirts, making me shove him lightly.

"Alex!" Ryan begins his scolding. "You can not talk to Patrick like that!"

"Dude, I think you need to calm down." Alex pats his shoulder before turning to me and grabbing my hand in his. "Here we go Pat!"

"What Alex-" I begin, but I get cut off from landing on top of Alex's bum. "Oh, God. I'm so sorry Alex!"

"Dude, it's fine. I think I broke my wing though." Alex groans in pain as he stood up. He examined his wing. One looked perfect, the other looked crooked and had disheveled feathers. "How does it look?"

"Um, truth or lie?" I give him a crooked smile making Alex groan. He slowly but surely tucked his wings into his back, making thick gaping holes in his back. His are the only ones I've seen that don't look exactly alike. "You want me to sew you up?"

"That would be great." Alex chuckles painfully as he slowly slid his grey shirt off. I take the loose threads in my tiny hands and started to tighten them, closing his soft pink wings inside him.

"I feel like this is my fault." I say softly. In all honesty, it really is. I landed on his bum, earning his wings to get caught underneath my heavy body.

"Nothing is ever your fault." Alex spits at me. I'm taken aback for a moment, then I remembered that his back is completely open and I have to quickly close it up. So I do just that. I quickly, but neatly, finish up but Alex points to my wings. "You need me to do yours?"

"I got it Lex." I smile at him as I do the painful stitching on my own. I usually do it on my own, I like the painful sensation. Pain is the only thing Angels feel any more. I pull on the last stitch, tightening the threads before pulling my sweater back over my torso. "Where are we Lex?"

"Rome? Yeah, Rome." Alex said looking around at the scenery among us.  "Pretty, yeah?"

"Very gorgeous. I like it." I breathe in the smell of fresh baked goods and fresh air. "Can I ask you, why Rome?"

"Felt like it." Alex shrugs and grabs a hold of my hand. I blush at the sudden contact. "Come on, we have so much to do and so little time!"

"O-Okay, just wait up. I'm shorter than you and I have stubby legs." I complain as he forces me to run along side him. He sure is fast for an Angel, one of the fastest actually. That's why he gets all the special missions I can't go on.

"Okay Patrick, close your eyes." Alex says dropping my hand and stepping in front of me. I reluctantly put my hands over my eyes. The last time Alex asked me to do this, we got stabbed by a Soviet soldier.

"Will I get stabbed this time?" I giggle, but hear no response. "Alex? Alex, where are-"

"Shhhhhh, I'm right here." He puts his hand over my mouth, guiding me away from where ever we were. He doesn't move his hand, giving me the urge to bite it. I won't, but I can. "I'm going to pick you up. Don't move or anything."

"Mhmm." I mumble into his hand. I hear him smile as he lifts me up bridal style and starts to carry me up what I can guess as a flight of stairs. Now I'm really confused. Where are we going?

"Okay, here we are." Alex said happily. He removed his hand from my mouth and my hands from my eyes. We were on top of a run down, but still beautiful, Roman Collusiam.

"Woah, did you plan all of this Alex?" I ask in awe.

"Well, not all of it. The broken wing part was by accident." Alex laughs and grabs hold of my hand. "I think you've been pushing yourself too far lately. So, Ryan and I both agreed that you should relax. And I thought, 'Why not Rome?'"

"Alex, you are too sweet sometimes." I mutter, and sit down on the pews.

"Thanks Patrick." Alex said before I heard my name being shouted in the distance.
