The next morning Marti woke up, still gragy from sleep. She heard Julian come in the bedroom. "I made us some breakfast in the kitchen". She nodded and walked downstairs. "That looks good". She said and sat down and ate a few pieces of bacon and some pancakes and drank some orange juice. "You really didn't have to do this for me Julian. I could've just grabbed something at the bar or Cheer Town". She smiled. He
Looked at her. "I wanted to Marti". She smiled and continue to eat. Julian looked at her. "Do you want to talk about last night. You were really quiet". Marti sighed. "What do I do Julian. Do I go meet him?, should I? Or do I just try and move on with my life?. I've tried so hard to become the person I am now". She sighed and looked at him and he kissed her. "I'm here for you and whatever you decide. I don't know if you should see him. He didn't care enough to contact you. You didn't even tell him your name did you". She replied. "No I didn't", Mari looked at him. "Have you seen my phone?". "Yeah I think it's in your jacket pocket.". He replied and walked over and got it out of her jacket pocket and handed it to her. It was a text from Savannah. "I'm still staying in Cheer Town but I won't be captain anymore. I need to take care of my mom and sister for a while. I'm sorry Marti. Please don't be mad". Marti looked at the phone then wiped her eyes trying not to tear up again, it already happened the night before. Julian looked at her. "What's wrong?". "Nothing", she replied. "Savannah is quitting cheer. Well she'll still cheer just won't be captain anymore. She's going to take care of her mom and sister. And she's deserting me too. So I have no one now. Dan with Savannah. I can't trust my sister. Lewis is back with Alice again". She sniffled and wiped her tears trying to stay strong. She looked at Julian and he kissed her and looked into her deep brown eyes. "You've got me Marti, I promise".
