Marti loved Julian. She even told him the week before. It was a just a normal Monday morning, practice at 6:30am. She had gotten her shower the night before and did her hair so all she had to do was grab her blue "Cheer" shorts and white crop top that said "Hellcats". "Ugh practice". She said to herself. "Least we can try to bring in the new year with a brand new season". She said while trying to put a smile on her face. She kind of felt a little sick the past few nights. She thought it must've been a stomach flu because two weeks ago most of her classmates had strep throat. She arrived to practice. "Hey Marti". They all said to her. "Hey everyone". She said. "Okay let's run the routine and add some new stuff", Alice had said. "We need to change it up if we're going to be the Cyclones this new year". "Ugh", Marti thought. "It never gets easier". Marti had done a few back flip layouts and Lewis and her other base were prepping her to do a toss up scorpion. "Guys", Marti said as she felt her stomach turn. She went up in to the air and grabbed her heel and pulled it up behind her. "I..". She tried to stay calm till she pulled herself and grabbed her strength into a twist and twisted herself down. "Okay Marti". That was good but you bobbled a little. Try again in a few". Alice said. "Five minute break guys". "Good". Marti said as she went to get something to drink out of the cooler but quickly ran to the bathroom and puked. ..."Guys where's Marti I need her to run more of the routine". She said. One of the guys answered. "I think she went to the girls bathroom". He said and went back to stretching. Alice nodded. "Okay I'll be right back". She said. She was actually being nice and trying to turn over a new leaf.
