Haley's POv

I wake up to the scent of eggs and bacon.

"Morning gals. I had the weirdest dream that I met Patrick Stump and we are hanging out today" I say with a mouthful of bacon.

Christina laughs and replies, "It wasn't a dream. You are meeting him at twelve and its already ten so hurry up and get ready".

Suddenly, I remembered everything that happened yesterday and it's all true. I'm meeting Patrick outside our doors at noon and I'm not even ready. I run into the bathroom to shower and shave quickly. Then I blow dry my hair, brush my teeth, and style my hair to my likings. When I finish teasing it I walk out in a green shirt, grey skinny jeans, and my green converse.

"Looking good" Rebekah says and I smile.

I respond, "Thanks and adios chicas. Off to meet Mr. Stump".

I grab my phone and a key before walking out the door. Patrick was already standing out there waiting for me smiling.

"What?" I ask smiling back.

He says, "Nothing much. Just got you and your friends backstage passes after the concert and you get to come to sound check with me now".

He grabs my arm and drags me across the street to the venue. There were so many security guards it was scary.

"Don't worry. You're safe with me" he whispers into my ear.

We get to the stage and I see Pete, Joe, and Andy tuning their instruments and getting everything set up for tonight.

"So you're the girl Pat won't shut up about?" Pete asks me.

I reply, "I guess maybe. So you have to tune your guitars and warm up your vocals right Patrick?".

He nods and begins to warm up his vocals. I grab a guitar and start to tune it. He began to sing Saturday so I played the guitar part of the song along to his voice.

I open my eyes and look to see everyone staring at me. I guess I didn't even realize that Patrick had stopped singing.

"Well this is embarrassing" I state.

Pete says, "Not really. That was pretty good. You play anything else?".

"Bass, drums, clarinet, piano, violin, trumpet, tuba, saxophone, acoustic, and I sing but not well" I answer.

They all look at me puzzled and made me play every one of those instruments to prove that I could which still appalled them that I actually could.

"Wow you have some talent. Now sing for me" Pete commands.

I say, "I don't really want to".

"Do it" he insists.

Patrick steps in, "Leave her alone Pete. If she doesn't want to sing then she doesn't have to".

I make my way over to Patrick and hug him. He's so sweet, caring, and genuine. It's hard to find people like him anymore.

"If I sing will you sing?" he whispers in my ear.

I nod and he starts singing Grand Theft Autumn. I let him sing the opening before joining in. All I did was look at Patrick and sing my heart out with him. He stared right back at me and did the same.

"That's amazing! I love it!" Joe and Andy say.

Pete nods his head and walks away.

"Don't worry about him. He's just having a bad day" Patrick whispers in my ear.
