Okay, so if someone is gay and they try to tell a family member and they're young, they've never been in a romantic relationship before. This person coukd be 6 years or 16 years and every year in between. But let's say this person is 13 and they're a girl.
She tries to tell her mom that she's gay. And something I've heard family members say is,
"How do you know you're gay, you're only thirteen."
What the fuck?
So if they're not gay, what are they. Straight? BUT NO! They couldn't be. How do they know they're straight, they're only thirteen and they haven't been in a relationship. So if you say that they don't know that they're gay because they're too young then they can't know that they're straight either because they're too young.
If they disagree with that then where's the gender equality in this situation?
