It was open house at my school. I was excited to see who my teacher was. Her name was Mrs. Gooden. Se was so nice! I couldn't wait for the first day of school. My mom bought the rest of my supplies, I just had to wait for Monday.
Monday was finally here! I woke myself up at five in the morning. I woke up my brother, and my mom. Me and my brother went to the kitchen for my mom to make us breakfast, after Breakfast we brushed our teeth, my mom did my hair, and we both got ready. We had tons of time before school, so we just watched t.v, and waited for my mom to get ready.
By the time we got in the car, we were on our way to Julian's school first since he starts before me. Once I got to my school, my mom came with me to the playground. When the bell rang I had to get my backpack, give my mom a hug and lined up with my teacher and classmates.
Right when we got into the classroom, I saw a girl sitting all alone... So I sat right next to her. Her name was Alyssa. We had lots in common. When we were at recess she was sitting on the swing by herself. I joined to swing with her. Right before it was time to go it...I asked her "Do you want to be my best friend?" "Yes!" She responded. She was my first friend ever since I moved to Arizona. And she still is and I am happy to be her best friend.
