I let the waves wash over me,
as the cold and sweet sea sent shivers down my spine.
I felt excited and filled with a mischievous, childish joy,
and could envision bubbles and bursts inside of me.
I watched and waited for the waves to crash down,
and cover my tingling toes,
to feel its warmth and wisdom.
I could hear the birds overhead call out into the vast empty air,
and feel the rush as they brushed past, so close they felt a part of me.
the smell of the salty sea was vibrant,
as the wind whipped and whistled past my ears,
blowing it into my face.
I let the sand shift in-between my toes,
and gazed at its lively, and mystic colours.
and before I could stop myself squeals of laughter burst out,
and an unknown happiness filled my heart with a honey warmth.
