Aki's POV
While I carried haru's body to the clinic people were just staring at us like we deserved what we got, but when they saw haru all of their eyes seemed to have held some unshed tears in them like they were sorry. Why would they be sorry for us? They didn't even care for us. Uhg, this is just so confusing.
When I finally got to the clinic I walked in and saw four king size beds on all four walls of the room. This is my first time here so I would have thought that there would have been more than just four beds. After I had put haru down on one of the beds I went back out to the hallway to see what the sign said and lord behold it said 'royal clinic', so my next question is why are there only four beds not two. Then I felt stupid I had forgot that me and my sister were also considered royalty, but why? The people here never treat us special.
I went back inside to see the one thing I did not want, or expected to see. My mother was standing over my sister with anger in her eyes. Then my mother walked over to me pulled me in the room, and asked me what is wrong with her.
"I don't know." I said with anger, but mostly sadness. "Well you better figure it out because I need to know." Uhg, why does she need to say all that in a demanding tone? "Why don't you go ask your beloved husband what happened maybe he could tell." I said with as much sarcasm I can. "What do you mean ? Go ask you father what?" "Go ask him why he tried to kill us. Wait let me rephrase that. Go ask him why he killed her and tried to kill me, but failed miserably."
After my mother was in deep thought she stormed out the room.Aki's mother's POV
After I had stormed out the room I was furious. I had to find my husband and ask him what happened, and get all this sorted out. When I realized that I didn't know where he was I went back to the clinic to ask Aki where he is. By the time I got back to the clinic I saw that haru was hooked up to a lot of machines, and surprisingly she was hooked up right. When I found Aki he was on the bed curled up next to her holding her like she was going to go away at any moment. Like the good mom I am I grabbed Aki by his collar and jerked him around until he woke up.
"What?" He snapped at me. The look in his eyes said that he gave up on life, but also his eyes held something else, something powerful. "Firstly, don't talk to your mother like that sec-" "Your not my mother!" He yelled at me while interrupting me. I looked at him like he crazy and slapped him. He didn't look phased at all when I slapped him. "What do you want." He said as he spat blood out. "Tell me where your father is." I said as calmly as I can. "In my room." "Why would he be in your room." I asked bewildered."Because after you disappeared he came down to my room threw me against a wall, but instead of me hitting the wall my sister hit it trying to protect me and then I blacked out and next thing I know I'm looking down at my dead sister!" Was all he yelled at me before saying get out. The command in his took me by surprise. I didn't know he could such command.
While walking down down the hall to Aki's room I started hearing beeping, but thinking just hearing things I kept walking until I hear someone scream bloody murder.
"Haru your alive!"
Aki's POV
"Miracles really do exist!" I yelled as I tackled my sister into a bone crushing hug. "What do you mean miracles really do exit?" My now alive sister asked. I ended up explaining to her what happened in our room, bit it really wasn't much since I blacked out.
"Hey, what's wrong? You look like you need to say something, but don't know how to say it." I asked haru. "Still observant as ever aki. Yeah, while in my 'dead' state I meet someone. But I can't really tell you who, because I'm sworn to secrecy." She said. What does she mean sworn to secrecy?
"You know what?" I asked haru. "What?" She replied in a tone that made her seem on edge. "Who cares right now. The only thing that matters is that you're alive. Right?" I said in a calm and soothing tone. "Yeah. For a second there I thought you were going to torture me until I told you want you wanted to know." She said as she sighed with relief. Oh come on I'm not that type of person, and as if she read my mind she said this "Aki, you and I both know that you will do whatever it takes to get the knowledge that you crave." She deadpanned.
Right now I don't know what I should do. Should I be impressed at how well she knows me, or should I act innocent and pretend to be hurt. Decisions, decisions. I know what I'll do. "...I plead the fifth." I mumbled softly. "What was that?" She asked me in that all knowing tone of hers. "I said, did you notice the clinic that we're in." I was trying to change the topic let's see if it worked.
"Nice topic change, and yeah I noticed. But where exactly are we?" She asked, and me being me I had to reply sarcastically. "Oh I don't know maybe in a clinic." "Shut up. You know what I meant!" She yelled. Ahh this is fun. Should I continue... Nah, she just woke up so I'll give her some slack. "We're still in main house. But in some type of clinic that I'm making special." I answered confidently.
Haru's POV
"Why?" I love this word. You can say it so many times just to annoy people. "Well my dearest sister, this is the clinic that woke up in, and didn't leave me from. So it's very special." He said in the matter-of-fact voice. Hmmm, so this is the clinic. Interesting.
