Eisuke: The Lost One

The Dinner

"Eisuke. Why is he here?" 

I saw that William walked into the limo and took a seat on the other side of my brother. 

"He is coming to meet Father as well," he replied.

"But I thought this was a family dinner. Just the three of us."

That is when Eisuke stayed silent.

"That's why you didn't want Soryu to come. Didn't you."

"I just didn't want to cause a scene in front of Father."

"Oh so that's how it is. I thought Soryu is your friend."

"He is. But I can tell Soryu and William do not get along."

"And did you ever wonder why!?"

That is when everyone went quite. 

After a couple moments, William started to speak.

"Look Scarlett, I know your mad despite what you said earlier. But will you please listen to my side of the story?"

I stayed silent, not wanting to listen to him. 

"Scarlett. Come on. I do not know what happened, but I think it is important for you guys to make up," my Brother says.

Silence

"Fine." I said still not wanting to hear him though. But I know my father and brother would want us to be nicer to each other for business.

"Okay. So this is what happened.

I was at my house with Amanda. She came over and asked to be my girlfriend again. She was my first love, so I didn't know what to do. All of a sudden she started kissing me and I kissed her back. Then I saw someone in the corner of my eye and it turned out to be Scarlett. Once I saw you, I knew I did something wrong. Then I saw her leave after throwing a box at me. Since that day, I would try to stop by the Ice Dragons headquarters but they wouldn't let me in. On one day, I stopped by and saw Soryu. I had asked him if I can go see Scarlett and he told me no. But I wanted to talk to you and try to get back to what we were. A couple months passed and I still never got a chance to see you. I knew if I ran into Soryu again, he would kill me on the spot. So I never saw you again."

I could see a hint of guilt in his eye's. I could also see that he was sorry for what he has done. After awhile I knew I had to say something.

"I forgive you, I truly do. Thanks William for telling me your side and I am sorry for avoiding you. After this one little argument, there was always problems with the Ice Dragons and the Red Snakes."

"Yeah, that was unbelievable. But I am glad that we can be friends again."

Right then we are pulled up in front of the restaurant. William gets out first then Eisuke and he helps me out as well. We are then taken to a table where I see my Father and Mr. Jones. William's Father and the last time I saw him was eight years ago.

"Hello Father, Mr. Jones," my Brother says.

"Hello Eisuke," both of them say.

"Hello Father and Mr. Ichinomiya," William says.

"Hello William," they say again.

I guess it is my turn.

"Hello Father, Mr. Jones."

"Hello Scarlett," my Father says.

"Ah this must be the Scarlett I heard so much about. Hello dear," Mr. Jones replies.

This is when all of us takes a seat and starts to order your food.

"So Scarlett, have we meet before? You remind me of someone my son use to date," Mr. Jones says.
