Scarlett's Point of View

After talking to grandfather today, I started heading to the hotel. My grandfather was pretty mad about my "walk" late last night but he still let me leave the house. I'm just glad he didn't assign me more training.

I wonder how Soryu is doing. I have not seen him since he told me to leave, but today we may see each other again because my brother asked me to come to the hotel and some other things I did not understand.

After a few more minutes of walking, I finally reach the hotel. I enter and my brother is standing in the front lobby talking to someone. Though I believe that is the manager of the hotel, Mr. Kenzaki. My brother spots me watching him and ushers me to come over.

"Hey little sister," Eisuke says.

"Don't call me that!" I say as I slap him on his arm.

"Someone's a little feisty."

"Be quite!"

"Okay fine, but show some respect for your older brother."

"No, I'm good."

"Uh stop being annoying."

While my brother and I are talking the manager just stays quiet and listens to our little exchange. He then speaks up.

"You guys are rather close."

"Oh yes. Kenzaki this is my little sister Scarlett. Scarlett this is the manager of the hotel," my brother says.

"Hello Miss. Scarlett," Mr. Kenzaki says.

"Hello Mr. Kenzaki," I replied.

"Well we are going up to the penthouse, call you when needed," Eisuke says heading towards the elevator.

I follow behind him and enter the elevator. While waiting to reach the penthouse floor my brother says,

"Hey, how have you been?"

"I've been good," I replied.

"Scarlett you know what I'm talking about. How are you with Soryu? I haven't seen you guys together lately."

"I'm fine Eisuke. Why did you call me here anyway?"

"Well, Father asked if we can meet up for lunch and talk."

"Okay."

Ding

We arrive at the penthouse floor and enter the lounge. Sitting in the couch is Baba, Ota, and Soryu. While Mamoru is standing against the wall. Once we walk over to the couch, everyone goes silent. I look at Soryu, and he looks like he has been doing okay. I catch his eye then he looks away and stands up and leaves.

"Soryu, wait. Can't we talk?" I ask.

"I told you just give me some space!" Soryu replies.

"Soryu, it's been a couple days and you still never contacted me. You told me you will talk to me later and you never did. You have been avoiding me and won't let me talk to you. Please just listen to what I have to say."

"Like I said. Just give me some space."

With that he left the room. I sit down on the couch and the others remain silent.

Time Skip

It's now time to go to lunch with our Father so Eisuke and I head into the limo.

"Hey are you going to tell me what happened?" My brother asks.

"No," I say.

"Come on Scarlett. I'm your brother and Soryu is my best friend."

"It's nothing Eisuke. Just leave it at that."
