Died
◻◻◻

When I was a little girl in pre-school,

I drew a picture of a skull.

I gave it to my Mommy but she shot me a scowl,

And that's how I died a little inside.

When I was in the tenth grade,

A sculpture from scratch, I made.

I gave it to my Daddy but his smile seems to fade,

And that's how I died a little inside.

When I was old enough to vote,

A romantic letter, I wrote.

I gave it to my Lover but he tossed it away like some worthless note,

And that's how I died a little inside.

When my heart finally felt like steel,

My instinct told me to kill.

So I tied them up against their will,

And threw them off a bridge like trash.

Splash!

Splash!

Splash!

And that's how I know they died.
