She ran through the darkness of the woods, numb to the cold pounding rain. Her porcelain skin cold and bruised beyond repair.
She could hear her blood pulsing through her head, her mind in a turmoil as their feet approached her, her heart in her ears. Until a loud bang ricochet through the vast night.
The bullet cut through the rain and her body went limp as she fell to her knees. Before the second shot out and she hit the moist ground, tasting it. As water filled her mouth and her nose, suffocating her.
She tried to crawl away from the slow steps of her captor. She failed. With one last try, she flipped herself facing the starless skies.
He laughed at her limp body. Before bringing the tiny pistol and firing again. This time he earned a gasp.
"Goodbye Rose"He left her in solitude after giving a last look which flashed guilt and remorse. But he quickly wiped it off.
The only thing she could taste was salt blood and hate. Her eyes were fixed at the sky the rain burning her vision. She was slowly drifting off, feeling death's cold kisses on her skin. She let out a small whimper as she could see faithful light in this dark, dark night.
Her eyes closing up after seeing a pair of light green orbs and someone breathing at the crook of her neck. And two canines penetrating it.
"You're safe"
