8 months later
I wake up with the light snoring of my sweet Dylan right next to me. It's the happiest I have felt since dad adopted me. I smile and slowly unwrap his arm from around me. I get out of bed and walk down the hallway to the kitchen to make breakfast. We have been settling nice, and the baby's due date is right around the corner. I never thought that I would be here. Happy, having my first child, with might I add the love of my life. After my parents died and after everything that happened in that horrible foster home, I thought I would never be happy again. I smile as I walk into my homely kitchen. After I'm done cooking breakfast I set the table and make coffee. I tiptoe upstairs and creep around the corner.
"Dyl pickle, wake up! I made breakfast and everything!" I said excitedly.
I'm not the best at cooking, but Crystal is and she's been teaching me some new tips and tricks.
Dylan rubs his eyes causing me to giggle.
"Why are you up??Its only 10." he groans
"Don't be lazy! I have bacon!
He instantly shot up at the sound of bacon, of course. The baby was due January 2, which only a week-ish away! I'm so excited yet terrified. The thought about birthing a child, makes me nervous. Its Christmas eve, and today Dylan has to go last minute shopping. I don't know why he procrastinates everything, its cute yet annoying seeing as how today was going to be about spending time together.
"So how are you feeling Ry, You look like you are going to pop open."
"Hey. I may be pregnant but I can still kick your ass."
Dylan laughs as if I am weak, so I throw my pillow at him as he chows down on some bacon.
"Owwww, I bit my tongue. You are a meany!" Dylan cried.
"Awh, you poor thing." I sarcastically taunted.
I just laugh at him, as he makes a pouty face on his side of the bed. Today was going to be a great day! Its going to be a lazy day, spent with Dylan.
"I have to leave in an hour."
Well nevermind. I guess i'm spending the afternoon alone.
"What, whyyy?" I whined
"I cant tell you. But I pinkie promise it'll be worth it"
"Fine."
Dylan leaves, so I call picked up my phone and called Tyler.
"Tyler come hangout with me."
"I'm at your door now"
"Really!" I said with a smile on my face.
"No, ill be there in five though."
And then he hung up.
Well Dang Posey. I waited and waited and finally Tyler showed up, bearing food.
"So it wasn't five minutes but, you are pregnant. So I got you All your weird food cravings and I also have those chick flicks you like." Pose said
"This is why we are friends."
I noticed Tyler drifting to sleep so I just continued the movie. About halfway through the notebook, my stomach starting hurting. I wouldn't normally freak out but it hurt so bad. I got up, but as soon as I stood up my water broke.
"Tyler!" I yelled out
"Ahhhh" He jumps up because I had scared him. He went mute when he saw my water broke which caused me to freak out more.
"Don't just stand there! Say something."
"Do I call 911?" He stutters out.
"No you moron just drive me to the hospital, Fast!"
I'm sitting in the car having the worse contractions ever, and I remembered Dylan was still god knows where.
"Tyler we have to call Dylan!"
I grabbed my phone an handed it to Tyler to call. Tyler dialed the number and put it on speaker so he could drive with both hands.
"Hey honey im on the way home, sorry I-" Dylan gets caught off.
"Go to the hospital! Ryder is going into labor!"
"Oh my god, no, no! I have to be there, I'm stuck in traffic. Ill be there as fast as i can."
We finally arrive to the hospital after what feels like a millennium.
"Somebody help! shes going into labor! Tyler yelled out in main entrance of the hospital.
A doctor with a wheel chair came and sat me down.
"Breathe in and out, in and out." The doctor says as she wheels me to who knows where
