Kingston's POV

I got in my 2015 Range Rover, with leather interior. I lived in LA, my father is an NFL player for the New York Giants. I lived in New York all my life but I moved to LA, I couldn't deal with all the drama that was going on in New York. I turned 21 about 3 months, just as I was about to drive off to go to meet with my niggas, I get a text message on my IPhone 6s, it was from Mia. I smiled. I've been liking Mia for quite some time now, I think she might know about me liking her but I could be wrong. I've been trying to hide my real feelings towards her cause I don't want nothing to come between us in our friendship. Me and her were best friends when we were little. She has always been there for me through thick and thin. I love her.

Mia: Hey, are you busy?

Me: No, Not really. Why? Wassup?

Mia: I need to talk to you. face to face, come over

Me: Um, sure. I'll be over in 15 minutes.

Mia: Okay, see ya.

I wonder what she wants to talk about, I hope it's not about her boyfriend Kadeem. I admit I am jealous of him only because he's going with Mia. That's it. Nothing else. If anything I could careless about that fuck boy. Something about him just wasn't right or maybe I'm just trippin'.

Mia was sitting waiting on Kingston to pull up, while waiting she trying to think of how she was gonna tell Kingston about what happened last night. About 5 minutes later, Kingston had pulled up and Mia walked to the car and Kingston got out. Kingston was 6'3, with a light caramel complexion, he had tattoos and each of his arms. He had dark brown eyes. He was so handsome in Mia's eyes, he could have any girl he wanted. I wonder why he still single? What was he waiting on? Mia said thinking to herself. Kingston had a big smile on his, all Mia could see was those pearly whites. Kingston leaned up against the car, " So, wassup Mimi?", Mia had a surprised look on her face "Wow, you haven't called me that in a long time" Mia started to blush. He sighed "Yeah it has been" "So what you wanted to talk about?" he said getting straight to the point. "Dang I just can't just catch up with you?" Mia chuckled.

Mia felt a quick pain on her cheek from where she got hit. Kingston had a concerned look on his face, "Yo wassup wit that scar?". Mia looked like she saw a ghost, "uhh, that's what I wanted to talk about". Mia was so scared to tell him because of what he might do. Kingston had some connection with some people. "Well, umm I don't know how your gonna take this, and please don't get mad and do something crazy cause I know" Mia stated. Kingston had gotten really nervous now, "okay I won't, I promise" he said. "Okay, me and Kadeem was goin at it again......" Kingston was zoned out for a minute he just kept staring at her scar. "So he hit me" Mia said with low voice. "I'm sorry what?" he escaped his thoughts. Mia sighed, "Kadeem hit me Kingston, Okay."

As soon as Kingston heard what he heard, "Yo where the fuck that nigga at?!". Kingston ran inside the house and looked for Kadeem. He found him sitting on the couch playing 2k16. "So you like hittin' females?" Kingston's nostrils started to flare up. Kadeem got up from the couch, now Kingston and Kadeem was head to head wondering who was gonna make the first hit.

"Man get the fuck got of here!" Kadeem said, Kingston on Kadeem and made him fall back on the floor. Kingston kept going at it. "Kingston STOP!" Mia said scared for her life. "Stop Kingston" He got up and walked out and Mia followed him outside. "Kingston wait!" Mia yelled. "What?" he said in a lower voice. "why did you do that?" she said. "why do you put up with his bullshit!?" " I mean damn Mimi like I would have never thought this would happen to you". Mia slowly walks towards him with tears in her eyes "I know, I don't know. Kingston grabbed her arm gently, "come with me, please" Mia looked away," I can't, you should just go home"

Kingston walked away, he pause and turned around "I hope you found what your looking for" He got in the car and drove off.
