I starred at the ceiling.

So bored...

So fücking bored...

I rolled my head to the side to check the time.

3:27 A.M.

What the hëll...?

Why am I up so early?

Then there it was again.

A sound.

*tick-tick*

I raised my torso up, and rested on my elbows.

"The hëll?"

*tick-tick*

I searched for my glasses on my messy bed-side table.

Nope.

I quickly searched the ground.

Right beside the bed.

My hand flew to the ground, grabbed my glasses, and slipped them on the bridge of my nose and just over the tips of my ears, and quickly regained my past position.

I scanned the room for the strange noise.

There it was again.

*tick-tick*

I was sitting completely up now, my feet flat against the ground.

*tick-tick*

I was moving closer to the sound.

My picture?

Nope.

My phone?

Nope.

The window...?

Yes.

As I walked closer and closer to the window, I noticed something was meaning to hit it, or, whatever it was doing.

I decided to go over back to my bed.

I had a golf club behind there.

I stood next to the end of my bed, and slid my hand behind the headboard.

I felt the cold metal swipe past my hand as I almost knocked it over, but luckily caught it before I scared off whatever was outside.

*tick-tick*

I pulled the sporting utensil out from behind my bed, and raised it beside my head, like I was about to drop a Hole-In-One on the culprit disturbing my sleep.

I quickly slid the window up and wiggled and threw my club around in the window opening, hoping to hit a bad guy.

Or should I say girl.

"Holy shït! What the hëll Emma?! You hit my cheek!"

"Jamie?" I said, lowering the golf club and opening one eye.

That would definitely leave a bruise...

"Who else?" She snapped.

Oops. It was an accident.

"Are you ok?" I say, starting to freak out.

"I think I'll be fine," she says, waving me off.

"Think?!" I start to freak out, again.

"I'll be fine!" She says, laughing.

"Okayy... Then why are you here?" I say, looking into her eyes, confused.
