i woke up looking up in darkness, i breathed heavy. "Goodmorning." I turned to my side seeing a little light on. "How was your sleep baby." I shrugged. "Not too bad" Daniel smiled at me. "Maria, i love you baby," I smiled back at him. "I love you too." He got out of his bed and came over to me on the couch. He was naked and so was i. "How was the sex last night babe?" I didnt remember it at all, but i lied. "It was great." His eyes turned to fire. "Your lying! You were so drunk you dont even remember it??" I shook my head no. "Bitch." I felt him coming to slap me or hurt me at least. I reached for my underwear and bra and quickly put them on as i backed away from him. Grabbing my yellow dress i slid it over my body and grabbed my purse in one hand and shoes in the other. "Come here!" I screamed and ran out of his house and down the road. I kept running faster and faster until my feet were giving up on me. Daniel came behind the woods with a knife. "Imma kill you now." My eyes filled with tears i tried to run but he grabbed my arm and pushed me on the ground i started screaming and trying to get away.

"Maria!" Brendan said. "Maria, wake up." I opened my eyes and breathed heavily. "It was only i nightmare." I felt him hug me and his body surround mine. "Your okay." He rubbed my back and i wiped my eyes on his back. getting out of bed i pulled on my sneakers. I walked out of the room without another word. i walked to the cafeteria and opened the doors everyone was staring at me. "Maria" I heard Johnny say i walked passed him and went to the window. I saw a boy who looked to be the same age as me. He stared at me, he was at the building across from me. His shoes were on the edge of the building. He was gonna jump, "No!" I screamed and he jumped falling. I ripped the blanket off of me and ran into Johnny, "Maria!" I started bursting into tears. "That boy just killed himself!" I pointed out the window but Johnny just took my hand and took me out of the cafeteria. "Get dressed" I ran into my room pulling jeans over my body and a t-shirt that was hanging over my bed, it smelled fine. I reached for my shoes but Johnny threw them in the trash. "Here." He gave me boots with buckles on the sides. "Come." I walked with him and he grabbed a doctors jacket and mask for the both of us. i grabbed them from him and pulled them over me. He grabbed my hand and we jogged down the hall. He opened the doors and we sprinted down the main floor. We pulled off the costumes and threw them on the ground. "Hey, you!" I heard a doctor shout from across the hall. "Run!' Johnny yelled at me and i followed his orders. We ran out of their hospital and to the streets. I ran into Daniel. "Watch.." I opened my mouth backing into Johnny. "Woah, Maria. sorry didn't see you there." I couldn't speak remembering the dream about him, all my dreams were flashbacks, and this one was probably the worse. "I..I.." Johnny grabbed my arm, "I gotta go." I ran down the street with Johnny. "Who the hell was that?" I laughed. "Daniel." he stopped in the middle of the road. "Maria." I turned around. "Hi." He smiled at me. "Im Ryan." He held out his hand. "How do you know me?" He laughed, "I'm the man who rescued you, son." I looked puzzled. "I'm his son." I tilted my head back. "Uh, why are you here?" He shrugged. "Well im on my way to the mental hospital down the street." I looked back at johnny. He grabbed my hand and pulled me towards him. "Maria, who the hell are you talking to?" I looked at Ryan and he looked at me. "Ryan" I pointed at him. "Maybe its a good thing your in a mental hospital.." I looked at him with hurt in my face. "He is there, say hi ryan." Ryan stared at me. "your crazy, im leaving." Johnny started walking towards the hospital. "Stop." He turned around. "Leave." He said to me. I felt a tear trickle down my cheek, "Your a baby." He left me just like Daniel did. I wiped away the tear turning to Ryan, "HE cant see me." I rolled my eyes, "I kinda guessed." the man saw me wiping a tear off my cheek. "I should probably go back." I pulled my hood over my head and left Ryan standing there. "Woah watch it!" I fell on my back. "I'm sorry." The boy looked at my arm it had scars all over them, scars that i haddnt put there! "Sorry, do you want to get some coffee with me?" I gave him a blank look. "I, I dont know you kinda just yelled at me saw the scars on my arms and now asking me for coffee." He laughed. "Come on." I stood up and gave him a half smile. "Sure." I walked side by side with him. "Im John, and you are?" I smiled. "Maria." He smiled. We stopped at the coffee shop but he looked in the window and took my hand and started a slow jog. "Where are we going." He didnt respond. I saw a mansion standing before me. "Holy shit." He laughed and opened the door shuting it loudly. "Do you drink wine?" I was eightteen but i lied. "Ya." He poured me and glass and we sat down on a couch. "I'm 24 and you are?" I swallowed. "22." He laughed. "Your lying." I shook my head. "He nodded and shrugged. "ALright." We had more and more wine. I felt his lips touch mine. I let out a weird noise. He brought my body closer to his and started kissing my neck i felt him lay me down on the couch.

Our naked bodies touched eachother as we were moving faster than i wanted. I closed my eyes falling asleep.

It was silent, night time. I put on my bra and underwear and my jeans and t-shirt pulling my black hoodie over my head. I slid on my boots Johnny gave to me. Looking over i saw John sleeping soundly. I walked into his kitchen noticing a note. I read it out loud but quiet. "John, make sure you take the knife and gun and put it under the bored by the front door, you'll be needing those, Ryan, The Mans Son." He knows Ryan too? who is ryan? I went over to the board picking up a gun and placing it in a bookbag by the door. i walked over to John and kissed him softly on the head. "I'm sorry." I ran out the door and down the street into the woods. I heard a branch behind me and started running faster. I tripped over a root sticking from the ground and tumbled down a big steep hill smacking into trees and getting mud all over me, i wasnt a girly girl, i played in mud all the time but not like this. My heart beat faster and faster. I finally slid almost off a cliff but reacted fast grabbing a branch sticking from the ground. I heard a gun bullet and it hit the tree right about my head. I unzipped the bag and pulled out the gun leaving the bag where it was. I ran through the woods and ran into a man. He grabbed my waist throwing me backwards, i screamed so loud the cops probably would come soon. I pulled out my gun and shot the man 3 times in the stomach and 2 times in the head. he fell to the ground with me breathing heavy. He was dead. I shot him once more, no movement. I turned around running into Ryan. "Im sorry i didnt mean too!" I started balling my eyes out. "Hey its okay, hes not one of the good guys." I breathed heavy and heavier. "I..lost it. he was gonna kill me." Ryan nodded. "Yes, and there are way more than those out there." I heard more foot steps, i saw John and 2 girls and a boy behind him. "This is John." I smiled at John but he cracked. "What the hell were you thinking! I have sex with you then you leave with a gun??" I shrugged. "Im curious?" He shook his head. "No your a stupid bitch who cant stay in her own damn business." A burst of fury came out. "You little dick! You have no right to say any of that shit to me!" HE smiled and came really close to my face. "I just did." Ryan held me back thank god or Little John would be hurting. "John, dont play with her. Shes strong, stronger than you and me combined." I smerked at him. "This is Alex, shes new, just like you, Maria. And this is Steph, My sister, shes just like you. and this is Luke, hes different." The looked at me and walked away. "JOhn, start a fire." He nodded and left. "We will stay here for a night."
