The Big "Escape"

Rowan's POV

I tapped my feet on the floor nervously. I was waiting on Sabrina at a local coffee shop in town for a date. I know it's nothing special but I just wanna get to know her.

A girl with dark brown flowing hair and slightly pale skin approached me. "Hi may I take your order? I've been waiting here for quite a time."

"I'm actually waiting on someone right now so I think I'll just get an espresso."

She nodded and went behind the counter. Soon she came back with my coffee. "There ya go!" She said.

"Thanks." I smiled while looking outside. Where is Sabrina? She was supposed to be here an hour ago.

I was surprised to see the waitress sitting down next to me.

"Are you ok? You don't seem too happy."

"Well, I was supposed to be a really nice girl today. Actually we were supposed to be on a date but she's a no show."

"Aw that sucks. Maybe I could get you some ice cream after work?"

"That sounds nice."

"I'm Selena."

"I'm Rowan." We shook hands and her facial expression seemed to change.

"Wait are you SuperRowan!" She screamed out loud excitedly.

Oh no. Everyone turned their heads and mouths hung open. They all scurried over here.

Her eyes widened at the scene. "I'm so sorry." She said.

"It's fine."

She nodded and pushed through the crowd of teens.

"Rowan can I get your number!"

"Rowan can I be in a video!"

"Can I get a picture."

"Can I enjoy my date?" One screamed through the crowd. I immediately noticed it was Sabrina's voice.

She pushed through the front and hugged me. "We need to get out of here!" She said over the screaming teens.

"Definitely!" I screamed back. Wait I need one thing before I go. I guided Sabrina and me to the counter and I handed Selena my phone.

"Put your number in it and we'll get that ice cream another time!"

Selena nodded and quickly typed her number. "Thanks!" I screamed again.

I felt like I was going to be strampled by the bodies pressing up against me.

I was going to hold Sabrina's hand and pull her out of the coffee shop but a girl pushed her into the counter and she groaned.

"Sorry! But not so much." She turned to me and smiled. "Hi Rowan I'm such a huge fan I've been there ever sinc-"

I cut her off quickly "Don't you dare put a hand on Sabrina ever again or I swear I will have to beat your ass myself."

She looked scared and slowly backed away. I made my way to Sabrina and told her to get on my back. She jumped onto me and I ran out of the shop.

The fans followed so I kept running until I slipped into a ally without them noticing. Sabrina hopped off my back and I breathed heavily.

"Are you ok?" I asked feeling concerned.

She nodded. "I'm sorry for being late I just got caught up in something."

"It's fine."

"No it's not! I know you wanted a date and this is not a date. You just ran miles to make sure I was safe."

"I said it's ok Sabrina." I stepped closer to her and pulled her face closer to mine.

"Every thing is perfect." I whispered and connected our lips.

Hey I'm so happy to get this chapter up today and to stick to my schedule. I actually was being lazy and didn't want to update but look at me now. Up is a pic of Selena she will be apart of this story maybe as Rowan's best friend. I don't know but I'm the writer and your the reader so I know the future and you don't so all you can do is assume.
