Ever since Stoick and Valka were 20, their best friends have been the hofferson couple, Bart and Hera.
They planned for they're children to always be best friends, they wanted two boys who were strong and mighty that had each other's backs.
But, that's not exactly how the whole thing worked. Stoick and Valka Haddock ended up with a small, fragile looking baby boy they named Hiccup, nothing like a strong, buff Lad.
The Hofferson's found out soon after Hiccup was born that they were having a baby girl in only 2 months!
Hera and Bart adored their baby girl, with her sapphire blue eyes and perfect blonde hair. Everyone on Berk agreed she was the most beautiful baby they'd ever seen.
Astrid seemed like the right name for this precious little girl.
