Christmas Game

 

 This one-shot requested from KennyDragonoid99. Hope you enjoy your late Christmas with this chapter. Ho Ho Ho!

Christmas! Christmas! Christmas! That's all the streets, the stores everything was screaming. Everyone in school was talking about it too! Rukia felt like it was a beginning of some really awesome festival which had a lot of back stories. She didn't want to embarrass herself so she asked Orihime to tell her about this Christmas. Orihime narrated all the stories she knew about Christmas, they all were good from the reason why it is celebrated to why Christmas trees are put, it was all interesting.

 Isshin had gathered everyone in the living room deciding what they were going to do for Christmas. Since two days Yuzu, Karin and Isshin had been busy decorating the house only a few things were left to do. Isshin had kicked Ichigo right in the face when he refused to help. Ichigo had no choice after all.

"So we are holding the Christmas party here tomorrow!" Isshin cheered and Yuzu was the only one who cheered back.
"Lets just get over with this I am sleepy" Karin whined.

"So I have assigned you guys work, Yuzu you of course are going to cook" Yuzu replied with and 'aye aye' "Karin you will do the remaining decoration upstairs and after you two are done we will go shopping together" Isshin then looked at his son and Rukia "And when were out you two will put up the Christmas tree"  

Next day Yuzu and Karin had gone along with Isshin for last minute shopping as it was Christmas eve. Ichigo and Rukia hadn't even started decorating the tree. "Ichigo how long are you deciding to laze around and nor work" Rukia said bursting into his room. He was peacefully reading a novel when she had to come and destroy his evening.

"Why don't you do it on your own"

"I can't"
"Why"
"The tree is too tall"
"The trees not tall you are short, midget"

Rukia huffed "Fine I don't need you help" with that she stormed off his room and to the living room to decorate the Christmas tree.

There she could reach it she had full faith in herself she could reach it. Rukia was done with decorating the tree on the star on the top was left. She was standing on a chair  on her tipy toes extending her arms high up trying to reach the spot where she wanted the star to be.

Ichigo had left his room after a short while Rukia left. He knew it was not a good idea to let Rukia handle the tree on her own. He walked into the living room to see Rukia had got herself standing on a chair and was surely going to fall. He watched her determination but sighed and went up to her. She hadn't noticed him enter the room.

Rukia had almost reached there when another hand snatched the star from her hand and placed it on top of the tree. Rukia huffed and looked at the intruder who dare to interupt she could do ot on her own. "Ichigo, who told you to help I could do that on my own" she said with her hands on her waist,  suddenly the sudden movement had made the chair move and she had lost balance and her body was going to have a harsh contact with the ground.

Rukia closed hr eyes bracing herself for the impact but it never came. She opened her eyes to see she was in Ichigo's arms, he was carring her bridal style. "Like I knew you could do it without falling" he stated lookinginto her eyes. An involuntary blush came on her face as Ichigo slowly put her down. "Better be careful, midget you were lucky I was here" he said before leaving her blushing in the living room.

It was finally the day of Christmas! Yuzu had been busy since morning cooking in the kitchen. That evening everyone was gonna come Inoue, Ishida and Chad were coming. They were all getting dressed up Rukia was going with a red dress which was shorter in the front and got longer behind she was looking more than beautiful. Ichigo went with a shirt and blue jeans. The party had begun everyone was gathered in the living room, chatting, enjoying, singing Christmas carols just having fun.
