After School

It felt weird, but a good weird, he just couldn't explain that feeling. It had been 17 months since Rukia had left him and now that she was back, well flashback...he had got his powers back and he came back to the human world. After a week or so Rukia came to the Human world as well, she said the around this time hollows come in lots. Last night they had fought a lot of hollows that they got so tired that Rukia decided to stay at Ichigo's house.

So here they were walking together to school after like a year! Ichigo kept glancing at Rukia, now her hair was short and seemed like her uniform...? No it was her body that had got curvier that is *cough* her chest. He noticed that there was a bit difference in the way she was walking. "What?" Her voice cut him out of his thoughts as he realized he was caught staring.

"Nothing, just that you walking a bit weirdly, like you're tired" he said, looking ahead as they had entered the school premises.

"No...just tired from yesterday" Rukia admitted as Ichigo nodded.

Time skip after school!

Ichigo had stayed in school for more time as their school team had a football match and Ichigo had to be the goal keeper, well they won, of course Ichigo didn't let a single ball go in the goal. He had changed back into his school uniform as he went up to his class to take his bag. He had to walk alone now cause most probably Rukia would have left by now.

He walked in the class and stopped immediately when he saw a lone figure sitting, more like sleeping in the class. "Rukia..." Ichigo said softly and went up to her desk. She had her head down and was sleeping peacefully.  She looked really, really...cute. Damn Ichigo though why was she sleeping like this, what if someone just walked in on her, like she looked irresistible. Damn...what's wrong with me, Ichigo face palmed.

He lowered his face near to hers and looked at her flawless face, she looked very relaxed and with her lips slightly apart Ichigo knew he couldn't control himself for to long. He missed Rukia though he wouldn't admit it. One kiss wouldn't hurt...

He leaned in closer closer and closer until he was staring at her face,  he sighed and stood straight and shook Rukia slightly. "Rukia wake up" Ichigo called with his signature scowl.

Rukia's eyes opened and she slowly pushed her body up while yawning, she rubbed her eyes and looked up at Ichigo "Had I fallen asleep?" Rukia asked him.

"Yeah, it's pretty late we should be heading home" 

Rukia got up but winced and sat down again "Yesterday I had hurt myself on the leg , it was fine until in gym class I got hurt there again and this time I crammed it pretty bad, but I'll be fine" Rukia took the support of the chair and got up and stumbled up to pick her bag.

"Are you sure you'll be fine?" Ichigo asked.

"Yeah I have been through worse" Rukia was about to trip near the door "Hurry up idiot" Ichigo sighed and went up to her and squatted down with his back to her. "What?" Rukia asked.

"Get on my back, I'll carry you" Ichigo said.

"No I'm fine I can walk on my ow-"

"Get on my back now! Midget or I'll carry you like a sack potatoes and I guess you don't want that" Ichigo cut her off. Sighing Rukia begrudgingly got on his back in for a piggyback ride by none other than Ichigo. She felt weird it  was something about his warm hands under her knees which were giving her a tingly sensation, his orange hair which were touching her face and his warm back pressed against her body, she wanted more of it.

I  no time they were walking down the familiar road down to the Kurosaki household. Rukia snuggled closer to Ichigo and rest her head on his shoulder "So...tell me what did you do in these 17 months, Ichigo?" Rukia thought about striking up a conversation.

"Nothing much, Chad and Inoue told Keigo  and gang about the whole shinigami thing. I spent some time with my family something I hadn't done in a while and mostly it was all the same routine minus you and fighting hollows" Ichigo sighed "I thought finally I am normal but now when I was normal I felt something missing. What about you?"

"Well I had to study and give some tests and then I finally became a lieutenant. But I wished I could tell you guys and celebrate along..." There was a whole minute of silence between the two of them, they had almost reached the house when Ichigo decided to break the silence.

"I missed you, Rukia..." Ichigo said slowly he felt Rukia twitch on his back.

"I missed you too, Ichigo..." Rukia admitted as well "We're here you can drop me now" Rukia said as they reached the house. Ichigo slowly settled her down and looked into her eyes. They were contemplating on who is gonna make the first move and say something which would lighten the situation. 

"Ichigo" Rukia went near Ichigo and pulled at his arm bringing him down to her level. She lightly kissed him on the cheek. "Thank you" 

Ichigo stared at her. "Do you think that was enough compared to the long wait of 17 months you gave me?" Ichigo said. He placed his hand behind her neck and pulled her face near to his before kissing her on the lips. It was a long, passionate kiss, he broke the kiss unwilling after a while and looked at her beautiful face he had missed "Thafs just half of what I want" he smirked "But your not going anywhere soon"
