Lunch had ended a while ago; Miku was her usual cheery self, Rin was in a much better mood, Neru was still on her phone, and Luka was upset--as she had been over the past week. She tried to get something out of Miku for the first two days, but eventually gave up, figuring it was of no use. Once she noticed the teal-haired teen talking to one of the Kagamine twins, Luka immediately took action. Sure, the blonde yelled at her, but anything was worth getting her friend back. Getting yelled at was absolutely nothing compared to what she would go through without hesitation for Miku. But, as she had learned, Rin was very stubborn and it was highly unlikely to get anything out of her. Luka didn't know it at the time, but Rin actually didn't know anything about Miku and Luka's relationship.

Today, Luka would try to get something out of the other girl Miku was hanging around. It was like Miku had a thing for blondes, or something. As most of the students walked to their lockers, Luka kept her eye out for a long blonde side ponytail. That would have been easy to spot, if their school wasn't full of people with what most would call crazy hair. Eventually, though, the young woman found who she was looking for. Her target walked to her locker, opened it, and then...pulled out her phone. Luka wasn't too surprised, because every time she saw the girl she was on her phone.

Determination filled the bright blue eyes of Luka Megurine as she marched up to Neru--who didn't een notice her. To get the blonde's attention, Luka cleared her throat. However, Neru was so engrossed in her phone that she still didn't acknowledge Luka. She cleared her throat once more, a bit louder this time. Neru heard her (she actually heard the first time, but ignored Luka) and looked up from the pink handheld device. "Uh...Excuse you?" She said, an eyebrow raised.

Luka blinked, not exactly expecting that. "Um...Thanks?" Great job, it's already awkward. She thought, but managed to smile at Neru. "I'm Luka." She introduced herself politely, only to receive a slightly rude answer from the girl in front of her.

"Hello, Luka. I'm Busy, nice to meet you." With that, the yellow-eyed girl looked back down at her phone as if nothing ever happened.

Luka scoffed slightly. Rude. She's certainly not a social butterfly...Or she's just shy. I doubt it, though. She thought, before leaning against a closed locker. "Look, I'll get straight to the...Wait, I don't know your actual name..." Luka said awkwardly. As fate would have it, Luka had absolutely no classes with this girl, and had no way of knowing her name.

At this, Neru laughed dryly. "It's Neru. Now, please do get straight to the point...Or better yet, leave me alone." The girl had looked up to say this to Luka, but then looked back down at her phone. She was actually texting someone for once, and not playing Flappy Bird. As much as she raged from her games, no wonder she seemed to be in a bad mood.

Luka was now quite annoyed--and tempted to rip the phone out of Neru's hands. But she didn't. If she had known that she was actually the current subject of Neru's texts, though, she might have. "Alright, Neru. The point." She said the blonde's name with a slight disgust. "It's Miku. I know you-"

The pinkette was cut off abruptly by Neru's voice, which was now annoying and obnoxious to Luka. "Miku? Who?" She asked, confusion on her face which was still staring at her screen. She glanced up for a brief moment and caught Luka's signature are-you-kidding-me stare. Neru then realized. "Oh! Miku! Yeah, I know her. Continue."

Luka was amazed at how annoying Neru was. She had been eating lunch with Miku for about three days, and she forgot her name. If she did that, then how was Neru treating Miku? She wouldn't stand for someone being an asshole to her best-friend-who-seemingly-forgot-about-her. "Just tell me, has Miku said anything about me? Luka Megurine?" She asked, clenching her fists like she did when she was trying not to...well, explode.

"No. Bye," Neru looked up and shoved her phone in her shirt pocket, then reached inside her locker and grabbed a large purple textbook. She slammed her locker shut, and as if on cue, the bell rang. She then walked away from Luka as if she didn't exist.

By now, the tall girl was quite pissed, and a little upset. It's like everyone forgot about me...I wouldn't mind, if it was everyone but Miku...
