When he said my last name I wondered how he knew me.

Kayla-Do I know you?

??? -You used to.

Kayla-How?

??? -You know me as Michael, but everyone else calls me Tyga.

Michael, The only Michael I could think of was Michael Stevenson.

Kayla-No, Mikey?

Tyga-Yes, but everyone calls me Tyga.

I can’t believe my Mikey was standing in front of me. I’ve missed him so much. If only he knew what I’ve been through these last 4 years. 

Tyga-Don’t just stand there. Give your best friend a hug Kay!

I hugged the life out of Mikey, and he did the same to me.

Kayla-I missed you!

Tyga-I’m pretty sure I missed you more.

Kayla-If you say so.

Chris-Wait. Are we missing something?

Tyga-Oh, Sorry man. This Kayla Moore. My best friend from 7th grades the entire way through 12th grade. I learned a lot from this girl.

Kayla-If it wasn’t for me you’d still be a sophomore.

Tyga-True.

C-Black-So do you know all the pretty girls?

Tyga-I guess I do.

Chris-Well excuse me. I’m Christopher, but you can call me Chris.

C-Black-My name is Calvin Blacksdale, but everybody calls me C-Black.

 Kayla-It was nice meeting you guys and it was really nice seeing you Mikey. I mean Tyga. I have to go finish the other booths.

Tyga-Will I see you later?

Kayla-I doubt it.

Tyga-Well I haven’t seen you in 4 years, so you better give me them digits so we don’t repeat this.

Kayla-Here give me your phone.

I typed my number into Mikey’s phone while he did the same to mine. When I left the booth I noticed he saved himself as Tyga and of course I changed that to Mikey.

*Tyga*

Tyga-Damn, that was my Kay. It’s been a long time.

Chris-You like her don’t you?

Tyga-No, but I did write a song for her.

C-Black-Which one?

Tyga-Far Away.

Chris-Why?

Tyga-It was true. She was far away because I didn’t know where she was, and I would walk a thousand miles to see her smile.

C-Black-Be honest. You hit that?

Tyga-No.

Chris-Why not?

Tyga-The Kayla I know has always been pure, she never wanted to lose her virginity and I applauded that. She always said that one day the right man was going to come along and when she knew it was the right time he’d be that lucky guy.

C-Black-You sure she’s still a virgin?

Tyga-I don’t know I can ask her.

Chris-Wouldn’t that be a little weird?

C-Black-Yeah that does seem weird.

Tyga-No. I have a relationship with Kayla where nothing is off limits.

Chris-Even her virginity?

Tyga-Yes. We used to talk about sex all the time.

C-Black-But you never had sex with her?

Tyga-No.

C-Black-Why not? She’s cute!

Tyga-She’s always been cute. I never felt like I was that special guy who got to take away her purity. She wasn’t fully pure but she was pretty close.

Chris-What do you mean “Not fully pure”?

Tyga-She’s had oral sex and been fingered but never been entered. She felt like that was only for someone special.

Chris-So she still hasn’t found that special guy?

I drove to my parent’s home and was greeted by my niece and nephew.

Demitrius-Hi Auntie Kay.

Kayla-Hi baby boy.

Kira-Hey auntie Kay!

Kayla-Hey princess.

I walked in the door and was greeted by my older sister Ciara.

 Ciara-Hey baby sis

Kayla-Hey boo, you’ll never guess who I saw today.

Ciara-Who?

Kayla-Mikey.

Ciara-Michael Stevenson?

Kayla-Yep.

Ciara-Did you tell him about the huge crush you used to have on him? Or about how you lost your scholarship?

Kayla-No, but I did get his number He doesn’t go by Michael anymore.

Ciara-Well what does he go by?

Kayla-Tyga.

*Tyga*

When I got home I looked at some old pictures of Kayla & me with C-Black and Chris.

 Chris-Damn.

Tyga-What?

Chris-Has Kayla always been this damn pretty?

Tyga-Yes.

C-Black-Then why didn’t you ever try to get at her?

Tyga-I’ve always been attracted to Kayla but we were best friends, so it was awkward. I fell in love with her when we were juniors, but I never acted on it because I didn’t want to hurt her.

C-Black-You must really care about her?

Tyga-I do. No woman has ever made me feel the way Kayla does.

Chris-You mean did?

Tyga-No I mean does. I never stopped loving Kayla and I probably never could. She’s just really special to me and now that I have her back I’m not letting her go.

~Kayla~

Ciara-Did you say Tyga?

Kayla-Yes.

Ciara-As in the rapper Tyga?

Kayla-I guess so, why?

Ciara-Girl he’s paid! If my mind is right he probably wrote 2 or 3 songs about you by now.

Kayla-Which ones?

Ciara-Definitely “For The Road” & “Far Away”.

 Kayla-Why those two songs?

Ciara-They both talk about losing the one you love.

Kayla-I’m not dead.

Ciara-Not like that! Kayla, Mikey is in love with you.
