Chapter One: Malditang Nerd

"Miss Bautista? You're next" bumuntong hininga ako at inayos ng konti yung damit ko. I positioned myself in the camera and flashed my sweetest smile.

*click!*

"Can you please remove your gla---"

"Ano bang problema niyo sa mga nakasalamin? Eh sa malabo mata namin eh. Psh." Tinanggal ko yung glasses ko at pumosisyon na ulit sa harap ng camera. I was about to smile when....

"What? Are you gonna take a picture of me or nah?" Taas kilay kong sabi. Pano ba naman nakatulala sila lahat. Jusko. Ngayon lang ba sila nakakita ng nerd na mataray? Psh. OA.

Nagsmile ulit ako and.... There you go! I'm done.

Well, I or should I say we are currently taking our ID pictures. At nakakaimbyerna yung photographer dun. =_=

"Hoy babae, pinairal mo nanaman yang kamalditahan mode mo ha. Psh." I just rolled my eyes on her. She's Zhyla. My Bestfriend.

"Pake mo ba. Tss. Tara sa library." Tumungo na nga kami sa lungga namin.

"Fault in our stars, Twilight, New Moon, Divergent, The One, A walk to remember, THERE! The Mortal Instruments!" I sat pretty on the floor leaning my back against the shelves and read my book.

"Ei." I looked around to see who's calling me. And there I saw Zhyla -.- looking like an idiot hiding behind a pile of books. Seriously? What the hell is she doing there?!

"Zhyla? Ugh. Why the f are yo---"

"Sshhh." She cut me off by placing her index finger into my lips. Uh, gross.

Agad ko namang tinaggal yun. I looked at her poker faced. She just pouted. =_=

"Anong prob---" ngumuso nanaman siya at ngayon parang may itinuturo na yung nguso niya. I looked behind me and saw a sleeping guy. With his mouth open. I barely laughed and looked at my crazy bestfriend.

"Kilala mo ba siya?" Pabulong niyang tanong. Nagkibit balikat lang ako.

"Well, he's the transferee." Agad naman bumilog yung bibig ko. Seriously? Transferee? That only means one thing....

"Don't tell me---"

*krrrrriiiiinnngggg!*

"Tara na! Malate pa tayo." Tumayo na kami mula sa pagkakasalampak sa sahig at pinagpag yung palda namin.

"Excuse me, pwede mag---" hindi na pinatapos ni Zhy yung transferee. Jusko baka mapasabak kami nito ah.

"Uh, kuya kung ano man yang itatanong mo, better ask someone else. We gotta go. Byee!!" Hinila niya na ko palabas ng library.

"Phew. Muntik na tayo dun ah." -Zhy

"Gaga ka di mo muna pinatapos si Kuya magtanong." Tumawa nalang kami at umupo na sa respective seats namin which is just beside the window.

"Oh the nerds are here." Oh the bitches are near. -.-

"Kumusta naman ang araw mo bookworm?" Nagsitawanan naman yung mga mukhang kuto niyang alagad.

"Well, it was good. Then you came, too bad." hihirit pa sana siya pero...

"Tanya." my heart skipped a beat hearing the most angelic voice I've ever heard. OA na kung OA. Pake mo? Hampasin kita ng libro diyan eh. =_=

"Lawrence. S-she is b-bullying me." Mangiyak ngiyak na sabi ni Vilma este ni Tanya. I just rolled my eyes and read my notes. Jusko bigyan niyo nga 'to ng trophy FAMAS, PMPC, GUILLERMO. -.- best actress amp.

"Stop acting like a kid. Tch. Pinapatawag ka nga pala sa SSG office." Haha. Too bad hindi umepek ang drama skills niya kay Rence. Bleeh.

Arte arte, kala mo kung sinong maganda. Psh. Nakakahiya naman sa pekeng pwet niya kung saan nakaimbak lahat ng..... Uh, nevermind.

"Okay class I would like to announce the upcoming event which is the ISU Quiz Bee. And as we all know, kailangan ng isang representative per section. So, who'd you think is the lucky one?" I confidently raised my hand.

At sa kasamaang palad, nagtaas din ng kamay si Vil--este Tanya. Psh. If I know sasali lang yan for her fame. Ugh, how I hate famewhores.

"Any other nominees?" Nagtaas naman ng kamay si Jerry. Tropa ni Rence. Wow. Akalain mo yun. Hindi lang pala puro football alam nito. Or am I just being too judgmental? Whatever.

"So our nominees for the ISU Quiz Bee are Ms. Bautista, Ms. Ramos and Mr. Fajardo." Ooh. This is exciting.

"So, who's in favor of Mr. Fajardo?"

Sa tantya ko may limang lalaki, at tatlong babae na nagtaas.

"Eight. And who's in favor of, Ms. Ramos?" Ow. I am expecting for the whole class to raise their hands for the queen bitch but, unfortunately... Walang nagtaas ni isa. Aww. Too bad. I looked at Tanya and saw an irritated face. She looked at me and rolled her eyes.

"Anyone?" Napangisi naman ako sa tanong ni ma'am. Palibhasa paborito niya si Vilma este si Tanya. Rich kid ba naman eh. Tss.

Nagtaas naman ng kamay yung mga alipores ni Vi---Tanya. Yung halatang napilitan lang. XD Alam nila kasi ang mangyayari kapag sumali si Tanya (oh yes I got it right ) Well, believe it or not.... Pati yung mga alipores niyang tagabitbit, tagapaypay at tagatawa niya, alam kung gano siya kabitch.

"Okay, uhm for our last nominee. Who's in favor of Ms. Bautista?" And as expected....

"Galingan mo!"

"Support ka namin Shar."

Yan lang naman ang mga naririnig ko sa paligid ko. I just smiled at them and bowed my head to show courtesy and at the same time gratitude.

"Grabe. Akalain mo yun bes, pinlastik si QB ng sarili niyang mga alagad sa harap ng klase. Huh. Halatang ha---"

"Talking about me huh?" Tanya came out of nowhere. I raised my eyebrows and stared at her fiercely. Hindi porke't nerd ako, ay magpapaapi na ko. Tss.

"Looks like my life is more interesting than yours darling." She smirked and flipped her hair.

"Hindi porke pinaguusapan ka, interesado na kami sa buhay mo, na-amaze lang kami sa kung pano ka plastikin ng mga tinuturing mong kaibigan sa harap ng maraming tao. Pinagiisipan din namin kung pwedeng ilagay yung nakakahiyang storya mo sa Almanac, or AHA! Guinness World book of records!" Tumawa naman 'tong katabi kong kanina pa di naimik.

"Whatever nerds. Bakit ba ko nagsasayang pa ng laway para makipagusap sa inyo. Ugh." Rumampa na siya papalayo.
