A Call from Kai

Aoi's POV

When I finally finished the paperwork, I said goodbye to the service worker. I went back to Sabine's room and found her sitting on her bed. I walked int since the door was still open, I sat on the end of her bed just as she closed her laptop. She ran her hand through her hair.

" What were you gonna say before the paperwork ?"

" Oh right, I was gonna ask if you played the drums too? " I asked. She nodded and said.

" Ya kinda, but I'm better at guitar!" she blushed.

" How long have you been playing?"

" I was like 7 when I started. My best friend taught me on this guitar. "She got up and grabbed the black guitar with red stripes running vertically up it.

" Signature Synyster Gates Schecter pin-stripe guitar!" I said.

" You know Avenged Sevenfold?" She asked surprised. I nodded and said.

" of course, I've been listening to them for years." I said, this made her smile.

" Why?" I continued.

" Because Synyster Gates- Brian is one of my best friends!" She explained.

"Really?"

" Yeah, Jimmy and Brian are like my brothers. They've been there for me since I was like 3." She explained. I felt my heart drop. I never got to see her at 3.

" I see. " I said to her.

" Yeah well, actually all the guys are kinda like my "body guards." " She made quotation marks with her fingers. Then continued.

" Some kid started saying shit about me at school and Jimmy nearly put him in the hospital, the rest of the guys were upset because there wasn't anything for them left! " she chuckled.

"Wow, so what else do you play? " I was genuinely interested in what she could do.

" I can play piano, bass and sing a little." She told me.

" Damn kid, were you just injected with talent." I asked, she laughed.

" I'm honestly not that great." she said.

" I'm sure you play just fine. " I grinned at her.

" So I like the new album." She says out of the blue.

"I got to be honest we opened a box full of your Cd's " She laughed again.

" Well I guess you saw my little collection-" I cut her off.

" You have more cds than I do." I said .

" Ahaha yeah I have a little problem." She said scratching her head.I laughed.

" So you want to see my studio?"

" Uh yeah." She said without missing a beat. We got up and went to one of the extra rooms that I converted to a home studio.

When we got there, I opened the door and let her go in first. She looked around and said.

" This is amazing. Do you do any of the recording for the albums here?"

" I do some parts but mostly in the actual studio. " I told her.

We continued talking about music for a while until my phone rang . I pulled it out of my pocket, saw it was Kai! 

" Hey Kai !"  

" Hey Aoi , is she there yet ? " he asked sounding excited .  

" Ya she got here about a little before 10!! " I chuckled .
