It was New Years Eve at the Collins family household. The family was hosting a party to end the year of 2015 and start the year 2016. The whole family had company over,including cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents and friends. All of Christine's cousins and friends were in her room upstairs fooling around.
"Hey! Maybe we should watch a movie in the basement with the others!" Christine's BFF, Jessica, mentioned.
"Yeah! That's a great idea! Then we know that everyone's included!" Christine agreed. "Is everyone ok with that?"
Everyone in the room nodded their heads. So all the munchkins ran downstairs, gathered everyone in the house, went into the living room, picked a movie and watched it.
By the end of the movie, everyone was tired and wanted to go home. It was only 11:50, so the guests decided to stay until 12:10 a.m.
"THREE......TWO........ONE..... HAPPY NEW YEAR!" Everyone in the house cheered. Barley ten seconds after the countdown, a bald guy (Christine's uncle Jeff) started choking on his drink, turned bright red and fell onto the floor.
Everyone started screaming and called 911. When ambulance finally arrived, the put the guy on a stretcher and took him to the hospital. His family took the family SUV. After the vehicles pulled out, everyone went back home.
Nobody in the Collins household bothered to speak about it because they were still in shock. So they all decided to go back to bed. When Christine got to her room, her iPad was glowing with another notification. It was from Angela and this one said, "Keep me company and no one else will get hurt."
