As I pulled into the the warehouse I began to notice very subtle changes around my surroundings, the biggest being the silence. By now my dogs would have smelled my scent so I prepared myself for the worst and pulled out a knife from the compartment in the bottom of my seat I sniffed for any subtle hint of a chemical, gasoline, and gun oil. None were present so I walked cautiously to the back, face forward but my eyes searching all over, every corner and shadow but resulting in nothing. I opened the door to my office and there I saw my crew in a V formation everyone with an emotionless face. 'Que esta pasando ?' Everyone stood steady until my right hand man answered, 'We had a problem when we were clearing out the evidence. We didn't know what to do.' I paced as he spoke and waved my hand as a signal for them to sit down. They sat in a rehearsed manner each end of the V becoming shorter until only two were left, but I did not know these two.

I looked at each of my men and stared them down until they bowed their heads. 'Why are they here Chuey I gave specific instructions' 'Sir, we found them in an unofficial basement. The blueprints never said anything about a basement that's how they shot you, while you were occupied with everyone else two men came from the basement and shot you.' 'Do you not think I know they shot me! I have the bullets in my truck if you want to see them, they wouldn't be there if you did your jobs!' I flipped over my desk and sat down in my chair putting my head in my hands. Then I heard a timid voice 'If it's okay with you, may we speak on our behalfs?' I heard someone trying to silence them. But I lifted my hand and simply said 'Speak' I heard soft footsteps come closer but then they stopped, I could only imagine someone warned her. 'My name is Lorena Calderon and this is my twin sister Loretta, we were being held prisoners and we would have been abused in every manner if you hadn't come.' I looked up and took in every detail between them. They were quite beautiful both with an almond shaped face straight blonde hair with streaks. But each with different eyes Lorena with hazel eyes with just a few specks of green and Loretta with had blue eyes that seemed to light up her face. Both of them with cuts and bruises, 'What happened to you? Did anyone in this room hurt you?' 'No no sir they brought us here and healed us, we owe them our lives.' My face softened and everybody in the room relaxed. 'Then what do you want from me and why should I let you live, you're a danger to all of us if you speak one word of what you've see.' 'Sir if I may we haven't run away or called anyone about anything we were given the choice to run yet we stayed, does that not show you anything?' I contemplated everything, on one hand they were a danger to all of us on the other they could be of use.' 'I've made my decision...'
