Me and Skylar were sitting there talking for a while until finally the familiar male came in with another guy, unlike Skylar here this guy kept his head hung low and wouldn't make eye contact with him. He put the guy in the cell next to me and looked at me," The Shadow Lord would like to have a word with you Aphmau ." I just glared at him who is he???
Laurance pov
On the way back to the village Ivy didn't say a word to me just looked around in amazement. "Who's house is that?" she asked pointing to the purple house on top of the hill I looked down depressed," That house belongs to the lord of the village...the woman I-I lo-guard for" I laughed a nervously and walked her up to lord Aphmau's house," Where is she?" Ivy asked when we got to the top of the stairs. I looked down at her and said," She's um...she's gone she disappeared yesterday and we are still trying to look for her." "oh." Ivy said looking excited "the lady I saw get taken away was taken yesterday maybe that's her" she smiled proudly oh her findings, I looked at her wide eyed and said," After Zoey cleans you up you need to tell me everything, okay?" "Okay " she smiled at me. We walked up to Zoey and saw her playing with Levin and Malachi in the little yard area they looked like they were having fun all care free i wish i can go back to that age even if i was an orphan it was still kindof nice to not care for anything. "Hey Laurance hows," she paused and looked at Ivy,"Oh hi my name's Zoey this here is Levin and thats Malachi." She looked up at me and wrapped her tiny little fingers around my index finger. I chuckled a bit, this moment of happiness brought me out of somewhere dark and I can help this little girl and she can help me.
