"Aria! Are you coming?" My mother yelled from downstairs.
"Give me five more minutes mom! I'll be right there!" I yelled back as I grabbed my last clothes and threw them in my suitcase.
"Your dad and your brother are waiting for us!" she yelled back and then I heard footsteps leaving. I closed my suitcase and ran downstairs, locked the door and jumped in the car. Today was the day I was looking out for 6 months. Today was the day I was gonna go on a cruise with my family! My mom and my dad gave this to me because next year, I'm going to college. A lot of crazy stuff happened in High School, and now me and my brother could clear our minds and just enjoy our vacation.
"Aria, you brought 5 suitcases! We're going for 1 month, not 1 year" my father laughed
"Yeah, but if it's cold, I'm gonna need my coat, and if it's not warm but not cold, I'm gonna need my other coat, and if it's warm I need my skirt or one of my summer dresses, and if it's less warm I'm gonna need my jeans, and if anything gets dirty then I'm-" I rambled but Mike cut me off.
"Okay Aria, we get it! You're a girl!" He laughed
"Sorry guys, I'm just so nervous. And soooo excited" I said as I buckled my belt.
"We know Aria, we're excited too" my mom said as she turned around from the passengers seat to look at me. I smiled at her and then my dad started to drive. I put my long, wavy, dark brown hair in a messy ponytail and plugged in my earbuds. I listened to my playlist and when "Happiness" started to play I started humming. It was my favourite song ever.
"Aria honey are you listening to that song again?" My mother smiled
"I like it"
"I know you do" she smiled and then turned back around to focus on the road and took a sip of her coffee. After a few hours of driving, listening to music, and talking an laughing with my family we finally arrived at the harbour. I already saw the cruise, and it was big. Like, really big. I grabbed my sunglasses, wrapped my arm around my mom's shoulder and walked towards the boat. My dad was carrying our suitcases on a big cart, and Mike was figuring out where we had to go. When we finally found our gate we showed the security ward our tickets and passports. The ward made sure our suitcases were safe, and then a staff member showed us our rooms.
"Mr and Mrs Montgomery, you share this room" he said as we walked downstairs and walked to a door.
"Room 24" Byron said and then opened the door with the key he just got.
"You guys can help yourselves right?" My mom asked as she dragged her suitcase into her room.
"Yes mom, we will get there" I laughed. The staff member led us to our room. He was talking and laughing untill he suddenly stopped in the middle of the corridor.
"You two are Aria Montgomery and Mike Montgomery right?" He asked as the colour drained from his face
"Yes, and you are?" Mike joked
"I'm Peter but that doesn't matter, I think I made a mistake.. The- you- there went something wrong with the rooms!" He said as he shot one last glance to the paper that was on the clipboard he was holding.
"What do you mean, a mistake?" i said as I emphasized the word mistake, being a little but confused
"Eh, you two were supposed to share a room right?" He asked nervously
"Yes, we're sharing the room" Mike said a little bit impatient
"We made a terrible mistake, I'm sorry! Mike, you have in room 2A, and Aria, you have in room 3B" he said with an guilty look on his face.
