*Stephen's POV*

The room was silent.

"What did you say?" I asked, sitting up.

"Sereyah is looking for you." D'angelo replied.

"How.. Why is she here?" I asked. My face started to turn red. I was completely flustered.

"I don't know.. But she's downstairs and all her friends were swooning around her." D'angelo said, still struggling to catch his breath.

I looked back at Tae, who's eyes we're a little sad. She looked like a baby when she's upset. I slowly slipped out of bed and slid into my slippers. I stood up and looked back at her.

"You're leaving?" She simply said.

"Yeah, I'll try to back though." I said, squeezing her hand. Then walking out of the room with Dlo.

"Wait!" She called after us.

"What shorty!" D'angelo yelled. Making me chuckle.

"D'angelo.. Do you even know my name." She asked placing her hands on her hips.

"Yeah.. Its Tyla right?"

"Disrespect." I coughed.

"I'm playing! It's Tae. I just call you shorty cause you short as fuck." He laughed.

"Mmhm. I wanna go too. I don't wanna be in here alone." She said getting up and throwing on her bunny slippers.

"Hurry up woman." D'angelo said, and she shot him an evil glare. She grabbed the keys off the table by the door, then closed it.

When we got down the stairs, there was the world's hugest crowd. Wadeline was down there being nosy. D'angelo came up on her from behind and hugged her, causing Tae to clutch her heart. I snatched her hand, bringing her closer to me.

"Makes you want someone to hold huh?" I laughed, letting her go.

"It makes me want to write something romantic." She said intertwining her fingers.

"You're such a dork." I snicked and she smacked my arm really hard. "Ouch girl! You deadly." I said as we pushed through the crowd to get to Sereyah. Someone screamed "Stephen's coming!" And the everyone parted a little pathway for me to walk straight to her. Tae wasn't far behind me, but when we got close enough to Sereyah, she stopped walking.

As soon as Sereyah sees me, she starts running towards me and then she jumps on me, wrapping her legs around me like this is a scene out of The Notebook or something. She was lowkey holding me a little tight. I didn't exactly react. I hugged her back though.

"Hey babe, long time no kiss." She said as she connected our lips and nearly devoured my throat without my consent. I didn't even get a chance to tell her no. She grabbed my hand and started to drag me away. "I've been missing you so much." She mumbled. I turned around, trying to catch a glimpse of Tae to see if I could see what she was thinking. But she was no where in sight. I knew she'd seen what happened, and she probably didn't like it.

I knew if I wanted Tae to give me a chance, then I had to avoid situations like this. I stopped my body from moving and I yanked my arm from Sereyah, causing her to fly back a little.

"What's wrong with you?" She asked.

"Sereyah, didn't you get married?" I asked placing my hands on my hips.

"It's a long story." She said, sticking her head in her hands.

"No, Shut up. And you didn't even come say goodbye to me. You just left. I had to hear that you got married from one of your friends...." I paused, because she looked like she was about to cry and I hate it when girls cry. But her face started to get angry so I continued. " And by the way, you need some new friends. Cause those same friends that were saying we're cute, were the same girls all in my face when you were gone. I went on a date with Samantha for fucks sake."
