Liv. Liv, why'd you do this Liv.
The voice faded out, I hear it a lot ever since that night. I wish I could match a face to the black shadow I saw that night.
"Liv are you listening?" my mom asked.
"What! Oh, yes. " I lied.
" So what do you wanna do?" she asked again.
" Uh what were the options again?" I asked timidly.
"Do you wanna go to the cafeteria or to your room?" she asked for the 3rd time.
"Well where are you going?" I question.
"To the nurses office. " My mom stated not looking me in the eyes.
"Why are you going to the nurses?" I asked bluntly.
"I need to give her your meds" she answered in a low voice.
"Remember we agreed I could handle my meds by myself." I said aggravated  that she was changing her mind.
"Yes, baby I remember but I think the nurse should have them so that we can make sure um..." she faded off as she looked at me.
"Make sure what? Huh? That I actually take them ?" I started to yell. Why couldn't she trust me. "Honey, I know this is hard for you but I can't lose you. Not after what happened with James." she brushed my midnight black hair out of my face. James was my older brother who had been killed by a drunk driver 2 years ago. No one had gotten over it yet. My mom reached to touch my arm like she used to do to calm me when I was little but I flinched away. She gave me a sad look "I love you Liv. This is what's best for everyone. "
I walked away before she got emtional again.

Gray. That's all I can see is gray. Gray curtains. Gray sheets. Gray carpet. Gray dresser. I walked over to the window and pulled the curtain aside. You have to be kidding me. Bars ran vertically and horizontally across the window. "I HATE IT HERE!" I yelled out.
"Don't we all" someone said.
I turned to see a boy standing in the doorway of my open door. He had black hair that seemed to go where ever it pleased. My eyes moved to his eyes which were a shade of green I had never seen before.   They stood out like lights on his pale complexion. They looked so deep into me I had to look away. He looked like he was straight out of a magazine with his black shirt that clung to his tall figure. He had to be over 6 feet. He cleared his throat. And then I got all red realizing it probably looked like I was checking him out. "Wow nice room. " he chuckled to himself "My friends call me Danger. " he gave me a smirk that made my breath stop. Something about that smirk made me what to end this conversation as soon as possible. "Hi" I responded trying to be polite.
"Welcome to Saint Andrews home of the mentally crazy! " He said as his eyes traveled down my body. His eyes landed on my bandages on my wrists he raised one eyebrow. I moved them behind my back. "Um so..." I was trying to think of something to say to make everything less awkward.
"Need help unpacking?" he asked stepping farther onto my room.
"No!" I half yelled. "Um I mean no I think I have it covered. "
"Okay. See you around Liv. " said as he gave me another chilling smirk before he ducked out of my room.

I stood speechless. Then I raced to my door and looked both ways down the hallway. He was no where in sight.

How did he known my name?
