Chapter 2

(Shaylah's Pov)

Lexi was scaring me. She's never like this. Beating people up, that's my job!!! We finally got to her house and I decided to stay over. We both sat upstairs to talk.

"So you goanna tell your mom?" I asked. "Hell no!" She said. "Do you know my mom? She'd kill me!" "True dat." I said. "Hey. So you know there's this party happening tonight at C.C's place-" "Do you want me to kill her or something?" Asked Lexi looking me dead in the eye. "Her and Ray are always locked up in her room. You won't even see her." I said. Lexi just sighed. "You just wanna see Prince right?" I giggled. "Yea...." "Fine. I guess we can go." A smile spread across my face. "Meaning I get to dress you up?"

Lexi stood up and spread her arms out as of she needed extra balance. "Dress away!" She said and I got right to work. I pulled out her black high waister's and a crop tee with the infinity sign and made her put them on. Then I fished out her black converse. "These." I said and she immediately started unlacing the shoelace. I went into her closet and stole a pair of bleached shorts. I put them on and matched them with my very sexy 'Bitch Please' Tee. Then I grabbed my jordons and started putting them on. It took us 15 mins to get all our makeup done and we were finally ready to go. I grabbed my car keys from her dresser.

"Ready?" I asked. Lexi nodded and followed me to my car. We buckled in and it only took 39 minutes to get C.C's place. When we finally got there we walked into her gorgeous mansion. I asked around to make sure C.C was upstairs and just as I thought she was. I looked at Lexi who looked a little uncomfortable. "You ok?" I asked. "I don't feel like I belong here." She said. I just shook my head. "Girl you look like a beaut, ok?" She just laughed and decided to enjoy her self walking straight to the bar. I smiled just as boy tapped my shoulder. I turned around to see Prince, a kid in my social studies class. "Your friend shy?" He questioned. I laughed and smiled. "Always is always will be." I said which made Prince laugh. "The music is really getting to me. You wanna chill outside?" He asked. I nodded and let him lead me to the backyard. We sat on the steps and just gazed into the stars. "I never feel like I fit in. These party's are just too crazy for me." Said Prince. I looked at him and laughed. "You sound just like my best friend." I said. He smiled. "Is that bad?" "Not at all." I said smiling. I couldn't believe I was this close to him. I swear he could hear my heart beating out of my chest. "Your friend. What's her name?" He asked. "The shy one? Lexi." I said. "Well Lexi definitely needs more self confidence cause she's really pretty." He said looking at me. "Did you guys do that one dress the other girl type thing?" I giggled. "No. We did that I dress all type thing." He just laughed. "Well you definitely have some style." "Of course I do cause I'm fly." I said shaking my head side to side. "Well fly girl, you ready to go back inside?" I smiled. "Sure."

(Lexi's Pov)

I only walked to the bar to make Shaylah happy. There's no way I was having a drink. I looked back to Shaylah and saw her talking to Prince. At least she was happy. "They do look cute together." Said Ray behind me. I almost jumped. "Shit Ray." I said. "Don't scare me like that." "Sorry." He said and he sent me a crooked smile. "I just wanted to see you." "Wait. If you're down here, where's C.C?!?!?!?." Is said almost freaking out. "Sleeping." He said looking at me. "But I'm glad. I need a girl more alive." By this time he was already swerving side to side. "Uhhh... .Maybe we should go outside and get you some fresh air." I said as I dragged him out to the backyard. He smiled and followed me willingly.

"You look really sexy." He said and soon he was taking the lead of where we were going as he pushed me against the wall and put his lips and inch away from mine. He was breathing really heavy and I could smell the alcohol coming from his lips. "Ray. You've been drinking." I said as I struggled to get out his grip. "And?" He said as he slowly sent kisses down make neck and started to make a love bite. By this point I was practically trying to push him away. "C.C would kill us!!" I yelled. "Fuck C.C." He said as placed his lips on mine and tried to kiss me but I refused to kiss back. He soon gave up and looked at me with a sad face. "You're no fun." He said. "I'm not supposed to be." I responded making him try harder but nothing worked so he gave up again. "I thought you would actually have a crush on me or something." I immediately started to laugh. "You thought... I liked... You?" I said between giggles. "Well yeah." He said with a serious face. "Your C.C's. If you don't like her, break up with her." I said. "And lose my entire social status? No way." He said looking at me. "Your choice." I said as I started to walk away. "Wait." He yelled after me. I turned around to find Ray jogging after me. "Now what?" I asked. "Uh... Maybe we could hang out sometime. Ya know. When C.C's not around." He said scratching his head. "I'll pass." I said. "As friends." He said looking at me. "C.C's skipping the first week of school for some trip to Boston. Maybe sometime then?" "Sure. I guess." I said just wanting to get away from him. He was really aggravating. "Cool." He said and he walked back into the house leaving me alone in the dark.
