I woke up and frantically searched around, discovering that it was just a dream. Relieved, I looked at the time and saw that it was only 3 AM so I decided to go back to sleep. I lay in bed thinking about the dream and what it could mean. When I got an alert on my phone. It was my friend Leina.

Let me introduce myself, I'm Meredith Hill, I'm 14 years old and I live in a world not to different from your own. I'm not an alien or anything, just a whole different world! In the world I live in, dreams have actual meanings. I've heard in your world that dreams are just dreams, don't really mean anything much. In my world, they can mean anything, and usually they have a very vague picture of what could possibly happen in the future. But every rare once in a while, the dreams are just a dream and they don't mean anything special. I couldn't make out what this dream meant, so I was hoping it was one of those kinds of things.

Anyway, I looked at my phone and it was a text from Leina saying, hey girl, ready 4 2day? Today was... What was today? Suddenly I got a notification saying that today was the first day of school! How could I forget? I was going to high school!

I quickly texted back, OMD! i almost forgot! i cant wait! Let me make this clear, super Disney fan here, so when I say 'OMD,' I mean 'oh my Disney.'

lol, well i got 2 get ready! She sent back.

     get ready? its barely 3:30!

girl, when was the last time u looked at the clock? cul8r!

I quickly glanced at the clock like, how late could it have gotten, but was shocked to see that it was already 6! I had to get ready!

I ran into the shower, got changed, ate breakfast, and got ready for school. I did my hair and makeup perfect for day 1. You know what they say, dress to impress! As I ran out the door, I went over a list in my head. I had done my hair, I had perfume and lotion, my boots were on, had my scarf. Yup, I was ready to go! I said goodbye to my mom and started to leave when she called after me, "Honey, do you have your backpack?" Oh my gosh! How could I have forgotten? I ran back out and was finally ready for school!
