Jack's POV
I wake up early in the morning to see Elsa sleeping in my arms. I'm going to miss her so much, but I have to do this. If I don't the drugs will take years to clean up.
I just hope Elsa will be okay, I won't know, because I can hardly have any contact with her.... but that was my choice. If my identity is compromised, they could go through my stuff and find her. I had to take every precaution to make sure she and our child was okay.
I never understood how doing stuff like this never effected her, she really is in the A team. If it was the other way around, I would be green with envy. I would hide it of course, cause I knew about this before hand, but still.
I sighed, and kissed her softly then closed my eyes again.
I must have fallen back asleep, because when I opened my eyes the sun was up, and Elsa was shaking me.
"Morning Snowflake." I yawned.
"Morning lazy bones." she chuckled, "You had better get ready, you have to leave in an hour."
"SHIT!" I yelled. I sprinted into the bathroom, took a 5 minute shower, got dressed in my suit, brushed my teeth, grabbed my bags that I packed last night, then ran downstairs.
I saw Elsa walking around in workout clothes and her hair in a ponytail walking to the training room we have here. I ran and hugged her from behind.
"I have to leave Elsa."
"I know Jack." she said turning around and hugging me back.
"I'll be back in 2 months... probably. Be careful and be safe, I love you."
"I love you too Jack." she said and kissed me. I got down on my knees and looked at her stomach.
"Okay little one. Be good and don't give your mother any trouble until I get back. I love you." I said, then kissed her stomach.
"Jack, we'll both be fine. Worry about yourself, I want to be a wife not a widow. I have no intention on raising this child alone, our baby needs a father. Just be careful okay."
"I will. I love you both." I said pulling her in for one last passionate kiss, "See you in two months."
"We love you too, now go." she smiled, "The sooner you go, the sooner you come back to us."
"Alright then." I smiled. I picked up my luggage, and ran out the door. Already the feeling of longing welled up inside of me, and I haven't even left the yard yet. Still Elsa was right, I had to focus fully on the mission. I wanted to get home soon as possible.
I jumped in my car, and drove off to the agencies airport. There was a plane all ready for me, and people as well.
I parked my car and jumped out looking at them.
"Alright, my bags are in the back. Please load them on the plane, and lets get moving." I said sternly. I then walked on the plane and texted Manny to keep an eye on Elsa while I was gone. I then permanently deleted all of my text messages on my phone as well as my pictures. It hurt me because all of those photo's I had of Elsa were deleted, but I had them saved on a flash drive in my office. I had to do everything I possibly could to keep Elsa safe.
So I deleted her number from my contacts, as well as blocked her number then wiped the hard drive.
After that I sat down and started to work on a plan for everything. I had to be like Elsa, and push feelings aside on this mission, otherwise I will never complete it or ever come home.
Elsa's POV
I smiled watching Jack go off, it made me happy that he wasn't going to let me stop him from doing the right thing. It also made me happy when he talked to my stomach.
"God, what am I doing? I tell you little one, your wonderful daddy has ruined me." I chuckled to my stomach, "Now, how about our daily workout followed by breakfast?"
There was no kick or anything, but I knew it was too early for that.
"I'll take your silence as a yes." I said, then walked into the training room. I worked up a sweat doing my pregnancy workout, then took a long hot shower.
During that time I thought about how we were going to raise the child. Certainly not like my parents raised me, but Jack always wanted a spy family and I owned the agency. I just don't really know how to properly do this. There are no classes for our particular situation.
I guess we'll just figure it out as we go along, my parents did the same, so so can we.
Anyway, I stepped out and dried myself off. I slipped on a pair of leggings and one of Jack's hoodies, then walked downstairs.
I made some toast with a smoothie which fruit I had tripled washed. After that I scheduled a hospital checkup for next month, then started working out a plan for the Artic Nightmare base. After we destroy that, Pitch will have little to none followers and no place to run. Plus if we are able to destroy all of his ways of transportation, then we won't even have to kill him, he will just freeze to death.
Meh, I'll still kill him anyway.
There isn't a lot of safe ways in.... but that doesn't mean I can't make one. I need pure potassium and liquid nitrogen. The guards and agents all take a break around noon, and all heavily armed, but that is nothing nerve and sleeping gas can't solve. Then it is just the cameras and alarms, which Hiccup and I can disable. Then after all of that Pitch is all alone with no power, and we will have a red mercury bomb.
All I need to do is get nerve gas, liquid nitrogen, pure potassium, and a little surprise that I made years ago that I have never gotten to use.
Not many people get to say they go down with a bang. Man, Pitch was going to love this.
