Prologue

High School. For the most part, it is boring, lame, and an amount of time that doesn't really matter when you think of it. But it is still one of the most important parts that molds who you are. In short, like it or not, high school will always be the part of you.

  Senior year, the year girls plan their prom outfits and graduation dresses, where guys  prepare their tuxedos and prepare to rent limos for their girlfriends. The time where there are only two kinds of people: those who don't want to leave, and those who can't wait to leave.

  But to Aaliyah Brock it's a different story. She wasn't the queen bee or most popular. She was popular for being nice at least. Well, that and the fact that she was the proud girlfriend of Cameron Dallas. They were the it-couple, the couple famous for being the most "adorable one" because they were a.) not into PDA and of course, b.) both nice people. She wasn't really afraid of going, she was excited but she was scared. Like her mother said, "College is very different, those friends will come and go, that guy could change his mind and he probably will."

  Avril Annesley on the other hand didn't want to leave. She was a grade A school hottie, the girl who was always followed by rumors and her posse, and of course she had what some girls wanted, Carter Reynolds, Asian bad boy of the school. But she was scared, Carter was acting different and seemed to have been disconnected from her. Leaving High School could possibly end the relationship she's tried so hard to keep.

  Kate Cadwell was going with the flow, she was the cool and confident girl everyone could have a laugh with. She was outgoing and spirited yet Shawn Mendes, her boyfriend, was shy, dorky, awkward, but adorable and sweet. He was always there for her but somehow, she wasn't always there for him. Maybe after High School he'd get tired of being that way. Maybe he'd be tired of her if she doesn't act quickly. But love was about acceptance of the person, did he really love her if he couldn't accept how she was always with the crowd?

  Theresa Cobain was spending all the time she could while High School wasn't over yet. She was afraid, sure, but she wanted to go to College. But it all changes her perspective of High School when two guys fall for her. Nash Grier and Colby Brock were both guys that she'd date. But how could she choose over a friend of a friend and her best friend's brother? She was always the quiet one, how could they start noticing her now? Was it too late to be someone?
