Mr. Grey Eyes

The meet.

And, since i got back from camp, all i could think of was Ian and missing him so much. I cannot believe i didn't give him my number and he didn't give me his. That was so stupid.. But i did give him my adress... and don't even know why! Days passed by, well two weeks. And i started to worry about him. I mean he lived 1000 miles away, i cannot go to him and just tell him how much i missed him.

This one night, i couldn't sleep so i basically ended up staring at my bedroom walls. The window was opened and suddenly i heard someone calling my name real quitely, i was scared to death. It was late and i was alone. Who would call my name like this. So i sneaked real slowly to see who it was, and there he was my prince charming. I could littarlly jump and scream of happiness, but i realized it was 3am so i jumped silently. He climbed this tree close to my bedroom and he got up to my room.

- "OMG Ian you came, you actually came.. i love you so much." And i just kept kissing him.

- "Of course, i did promise you and told ya that wasn't a goodbye. I had to come see you."

- "I cannot believe that you're actually here with me."

I kept hugging and hugging and kissing. Ow my god, i just loved him.

- "Do you have a place to go to tonight?"

- "Well, no! I know no one and..."

- "Emm, i cannot let you go sleep at a hotel, and i can't wake my parents at this time to tell them about you, so stay with me, and  in the morning you'll sneak out."

- "Are you sure about this Babe?"

- "Of course I'm sure, besides i just got you back, there is no way i am letting you go again."

We spend all night lying on my bed, talking and talking like we used to at camp. I was lying on his chest, he was holding my hand so tight, and every 5 minutes, he kissed my forhead. I just loved him for everything, he was so sweet and carring and he loved me. But of course, the sun had to rise and Ian had to sneak out.

- "Good morning sunshine, c'mon wake up sleepy head, i have to go, remember."

- "What! No, just wait here, I'll be right back. Just wait."

I rushed down the stairs to find my mom.

- "Mom! Mommy, sweet amazing best mother ever, in the whole wild world."

- "Yes, Hailey! What do you want?"

- "Whaaaat ? I don'g need nir want anything, i just wanted.. kind of.. well.. Okay I'm gonna tell you something, but hear me out till the very end, and don't get mad and let me explain. Sooo... there's this guy up in my room.."

- "Young lady, how dare you ? I am telling your father emmediately.."

- "No no no no, just let me explain. I met him this summer at camp and he promised he would come visit so he did, and it was late and he knows no one here so i asked him to stay here. But mom, i swear nothing happened, we spent the whole night talking, i swear."

- "That is it, I've heard enough. You are grounded for life, and i am telling your father."

- "No mom, please you can't. Mom i.. i ..i..i... i love him!

- "You What?"

- "I love him and he loves me."

- "Ow sweetheart, come here."

She hugged me like she used to when i was a little girl. And she said: "Hailey, be careful would you? No more heartbreaks okay?"

- "No mom, this time, i know it's real. I know it with all my heart."

- "So what do i have to do?"

- "He has to leave now, but i don't want him to go. So if you can tell Daddy that he spent the night at the guests' room."

- "You want me to lie to your father?"

- "Mom, please. I really don't want him to leave. Please!"

- "Alright, but it's the first and last."

- "Thank you, thank you, thank you mom. I love you, and not because of this but because you always stand by my side. I love you."

So i showered and got dressed while my mom took Ian to the guests' room. I went down, i sat down at the breakfast table and there was my dad. I was littarally crossing my fingers that he would be in a good mood. So my mom came in and Ian was with her. He was wearing this black suit that probbably my mom gave him, and his eyes... He was just.. uh.. i can't describe it.

- "So daddy this is my boyfriend Ian."

He shook dad's hand and dad was like furious like where the hell did he come from? My mom intrrupted, thank god!

- "So Ian came last night, i was up and Hailey came to me, saying her boyfriend is at the door. So i went to meet him, and i couldn't let him leave at that time. You were asleep so i just took him to the guests' room."

Even after that amazing talk from my amazing mom, dad was still really mad. And i knew i was in truble biiiiig truble.

And by the way, my dad has never ever liked any of my boyfriends, actually didn't like isn't the correct word. My dad hated every single boyfriend i had. For most of them, he was the reason of many of my breakups. So, Ian pretty much had no chance earning my dad's admiration, unfortunatelly...

After breakfast, dad called both of us; me and Ian. And i knew this will be a disaster.

- "Okay, let's start with you Mr. Ian, how old are you? And what do you do, how did you meet my daughter... and.. and... "

All i could do was stare while my dad was throwing mountains of questions at my boyfriend. And then, the worst part was when dad kicked me out of his office. And to be honest, i knew this would be a disaster.

I went out and there she was my amazing grand mother.

- "Hey gramma!!"

- "Hello, dear. Looks like someone is in big truble."

- "Yup, major truble gramma."

- "Ow sweatheart, i know my son can be tough most of the times, but he'll come around. And also dear, i really did like that boyfriend of yours, so your dad can actually like him too. He sounds like a gentleman."

- "Gramma, it's like you don't even know daddy. He never likes my boyfriends, ever."

- "Well, there's a first time for everything, dear."

She did make me feel better, way better. Then i heard the door getting opened, my heart started racing...
