It was a mid-winter day during Junior Year. There was a light layer of snow, frosted throughout the school yard. Snowflakes carefully tumbling and landing flawlessly on the trees. Near the window, sitting at a desk, staring out at the white Wonderland was Allison Knowles. Her beautiful face was scrunched up against the window. Her vibrant green eyes scanned the outside. Her lips, a perfect pink. Her strawberry golden hair draped in curls. She wore a soft red dress with black tights, tan combat boots and a jean jacket. She watched as each intricate snowflake fell from the sky and found it's place. Then she watched as it blended into the snow becoming a mass of the same snow.

Allison could feel the chill of the winter through the window. A chill ran down her spine and her hands left the grip of the frosty window, where an imprint of her hands remained. The bell abruptly rang and sent shrieking noises from relieved students throughout the school. Allison turned back to the window and quickly glanced again at the whirlwind of snow falling down. She grabbed her bag from under the desk and made her way out of the classroom and into the flooded halls. She finally made it to her old rusty locker, that looks like it's been there for 20 years, which it had been.

As she input the combination, the rush died down as everyone began to flock to their next class.  Her locker door swung open. There was a groan from someone. Allison ignored it and grabbed her books for her next class and shut the locker. Then she realized it, the groan had come from the person she had hit while opening her locker. And then the bell rang. Officially telling her, class had started and she was late.

What did I just do? Should I run to class or help this kid? She thought. She decided that it would be better to miss class altogether rather than going in late. The kid was knocked out cold. He didn't move or make any noise at all. Allison dropped her books on the floor next to the kid and ran through the halls to the nurses office. She entered and called for the nurse.

"Hello! Nurse! Anyone?!"

The nurse came rushing out at once. "Can I help you?" She asked.

''Um. Yes, A kid got knocked out upstairs."

"Oh my. Lets go see." The nurse grabbed a small medical bag. Together, Allison and the nurse shuffled through the halls and up the stairs. Sure enough the boy was still there sprawled out onto the floor next to Allison's locker. "Oh yes, he is knocked out,"The nurse said while examining the boy, "We should get the stretcher and take him back to my office."

The nurse ran quickly and got the stretcher and a few other faculty members. Allison watched as they lifted the boy up on to the stretcher and carried him to the nurses office on the first floor. Allison followed them merely because she felt bad for the boy.

Allison's P.O.V.

The nurse was sitting at her desk looking up the boy's records so they could call his parents.

I stared around at the nurses office. It was a baby blue color. It wasn't very big. There were two rooms. The front room was where the desk was and some waiting chairs stood there. The other room was where I sat. There was a small bed. Some equipment was attached to the wall. It was a very small room. In another corner, there was a very small fridge and freezer with cups stacked up next to it.

The boy laid almost lifeless in the bed. The only movement was that of his rising and falling chest. He was breathing. His head had a big goose bump, a cut in the middle of it and he was eventually going to have a black eye.

The nurse came in the room. "What's your name honey?" she asked me.

"Uh, Allison Knowles." I replied, a little unsure at first.

"Ok, well Allison. Do you know this boy?" She replied in a sweet tone.

"No ma'am. I've only seen him once, and that was today. I opened my locker and he hit his head into it and fell."
