It Wasn't Me

Chapter five: Who did it?

I woke up early and went for a run in place of cheer practice. Then I got ready and headed out to school. I went to my locker and got my stuff and then I went to my first class of the day. My classes went like they usually do just lectures, until lunch. I entered the cafeteria and sat down with Hayley and Marie with my food.

"So.... how was your date with Spencer," Hayley asked once I sat down

"Did you guys make out?" Marie was curious.

"It was just like a regular date," I said.

"So you guys did kiss!" Hayley smiled

"Maybe,"I said "Who knows we could've made out,"

Then there was this girl and her friends that came up to our table, Meghan. Meghan pulled out her phone and showed me a picture of Spencer and I playing with each other's beanies. She then proceeded to show me another picture of me and Spencer kissing at the end of the path way.

"Where did you get these?" I said I was now a little frustrated.

"Ohhhh well I was wandering the park when I saw you two on the hill," She said evily. Hayley then stood up and walked over to Meghan.

"Look Meghan, Spencer is done with you so why won't you take your butt over there and leave her alone," Hayley sneered.

Meghan came over to me and whispered in my ear, "Ohhh and you don't want me to tell the whole school about what you did with Spencer in the car," she pulled away from my ear and glared at me evily. Meghan was Spencer's ex girlfriend and she appeared to be super jealous of me because I'm Spencer's girlfriend now.

"Thanks Hayley, for sticking up for me," I said sincerely.

"No problem, now what did you do with Spencer in the car?" Marie must've heard Meghan.

"Nothing, it's not a big deal," I said.

"WELL it must be a big deal if Meghan is threatening you with it," Marie said. They are my best friend so I don't think they would tell if I told them.

"Promise you won't tell anyone?" I said

"Promise," they said at the same time.

"Ok, we kinda had an entire makout session," I said. They had their mouth open.

"What?"I said.

It was almost time for the last class and I could feel Spencer behind me. I grabbed my bag and closed my locker and turned around.

"Hi," I said. I was still thinking about what Meghan said to me.

"Allison, what's wrong," he said.

"Nothing,"

"Obviously something is wrong," he said.

"Well, at lunch, Meghan threatened me," I said

"WHAT!!!!! How did she threaten you?" He was furious.

"She saw you and I yesterday and what we did, she was going to tell the whole school about what we did," I said. I could feel tears well up in my eyes, I didn't want Spencer to see that so I walked off and got outside to my car until he stopped me. Tears were now falling down my face. " I feel so violated, she saw everything."

"Hey," Spencer called out. I turned around and more tears were now flooding down my face. He grabbed my face and wiped the tears away with his thumb. He hugged me and I went to class.

I wasn't very happy at all. Class was really long and I couldn't pay attention. About halfway through the class, the class phone rang. Mrs. Johansson answered it. She then said something I wasn't expecting, "Allison, your are needed in the office." It took me by surprise and I got up and walked out of class. I walked down the hallway to the office and the Secretary motioned for me to go in the principals office. I hesitated because I might be in trouble. For what I didn't know. I went inside anyways and what I saw immediately crushed me. It was Spencer. He was sitting there in a chair crying. I had never seen Spencer cry. He saw me and motioned for me to sit down next to him. I did. The principal wasn't there at the moment. I gave a squeaky what's wrong. And this is what he said.
