Walking out into this route was like going into a place I've never been into before. It's hard to describe for all Pokemon trainers. I even asked my mom to describe it, and she can't. By the way, I'm adopted. I have never encountered another Mewtwo in the Scoria region. Anyway, Billy and I started walking when I came up with an idea. "Let's see who can catch more Pokemon here!" I said. Billy agreed, and we went out separate ways. I walked around in the grass for a little bit, looking for a Pokemon of any kind. Then, I heard a noise, turned around too fast, and fell on my face. Right in front of me was a Petitil! I stood up, brushed myself off, then said, "Go, Growlithe!" Growlithe came out prepared for a fight. It wasn't very intense, kind of cute, actually. Eventually, after the "intense" battle, I caught Petitil. "I'm going to name you Rose!" Rose nodded, then I returned her. Then I went up to the first city.

I finally made it! Billy beat me there, having 3 Pokemon. I technically had 3, me being a Pokemon, but Billy won. He went back into the Route to train, when I went to go look at the gym. The sign in front read, "Gracie, The Shining Flower." Ah, so she's a grass type. I thought. Should be easy to beat with Blaze... I walked into the Gym, to be greeted by a lady I have never met before. She gasped. "Shadow?" She said. "I didn't know you got a Pokemon!" I recognized her as Lucy. "Lucy? Long time no see! Did you just beat the Gym leader?" "Yeah, I did. She was a tough opponent too! It was hard, because my partner is a grass type. Come on out!" Lucy sent out a Bulbasaur. "I named him Bud," she said. "Well, do you want to meet my starter? Come on out, Blaze!" Growlithe came out and barked. "Aww, isn't he so cute?" Lucy said. "Well, I best be going, I have to challenge Gracie for myself!" I said. "Ok, catch you later, Shadow!" Lucy then left. I walked up to Gracie, ready for a fierce battle. I called Blaze up, and then we got started!
