"Mum! Do I have to wash!?" Rose grumbled. She had been playing in the mud all day and was now smothered in mud.

"I just washed a few days ago! I'm not a human!" Rose crossed over her arms and began to gallop around the old oak tree, hoping an apple or tree would fall down.

"Rose, darling, you may be a deer but you want to impress the tribe leader, right? I heard you wanted to become a warrior deer! They get picked very young, you know."
Her mum knew that eventually, Rose would give up and wash in the river but she also knew that her daughter dreamed too big, and could not possibly become a warrior since she lacked antlers.

"Ugh! Fine! Warriors don't need to be clean though, well, that's what Dan told me anyway. He is a warrior, you know."
Rose pouted but trampled into the river anyway. She knew that being a warrior would be the best job ever, she would be able to protect the tribe, get recognised, defend her territory and most importantly prove to her mother that she could accomplish anything. After a while, young Rose left the River, shook of her fur and fetched her mother.

"Come on mum, you know our leader doesn't like lateness. Come on! Come on!" Rose begged whilst dragging her mum away from her home to the leader tent.

"Rose! Rose, I'm coming!" Her mother spoke whilst skipping over to the leader tent.

Eventually, they get there and greet the leader.

" Hello wise one, today I bring a young warrior enthusiast. She may have no antlers but she is extremely strong in leg power."
Her mother stated whilst bowing over to the great one.

"I see, I see young Rose training with us but not becoming a knight. I see something interfering with the plan. But I am sure I can stop it. Your daughter is strong and tomorrow, she will begin training."
The great one had confirmed that Rose would rise in power but something would stop her reign, something powerful.

"Something will stop her? How can you be so sure? Will she be strong enough to stop it?"
Rose's mother was worried, her daughter was only small and had no means of defence expect her legs.

"My future vision cannot predict everything Lily, sometimes in life, we have to take risks and discover new things. I'm sure your daughter will be fine and I shall often send messengers with news of her training status. Trust me as your leader, that your daughter will grow up here and become one of our greatest warriors and I'm sure one interference will not stop that." The leader smiled.

That's all for now folks, leaving you on a cliffhanger! Hehehe!
