Chapter 1:
I took a deep breath and got into the ring of an underground fighting arena, I looked up at my competitor and wasn't surprised to see none other than my enemy; Cody.
The King the superior as they call him, I snorted in disgust and took my position directly opposite of him and smirked. Cody has won too many fights against me and I was getting sick of it.
Cody was known as their King, no one has ever beaten him in a match, not even me. I know that I'm better than him, but it always seems as though he has a way around me, like he knows that I could beat him, but he doesn't want it to happen.
He can sense when I'm winning and then end it all in a kick to the face causing me to fall unconscious, and automatically making him winner, again.
It's good though, shows that he's determined to keep his title in Division. Division is an Underground Fighting arena, and it's the top shit too, we hardly get caught, and the crowd that watches us keeps their mouths shut 'cause I'm sure that they don't want over 50 trained street fighters after their ass.
In Division, I am commonly known as their Princess, angel by day, devil by night and as cliché as it sounds, it's true...mostly. I have managed to knock out all of the competitors known to be fighting in Division, guys included, they were too easy. My name is Alana Sunset Ivy, I'm 16 years old. I have Golden/Pale Blonde hair that reaches just below my C-cup boobs and a mixture between sky blue and ocean blue eyes. I'm a midget 5"8 but always argue that I'm 5"9.
My older brother Geovanni Isaac Ivy or as he likes it, Geo has taught me a lot and has supported me from day one. He was already fighting with Division so he was the one to properly introduce me to it. And I haven't looked back since. Geo's 18 years old with light brunette, almost honey brown hair with pale grey and pale blue eyes mixed. He is 6"5 with a strong muscular build.
My younger brothers, Daimon and Deigo have recently started too and no one has suspected us as siblings. They of course know that Daimon and Deigo are identical twins, but they haven't thought of us being all related. We decided to keep it that way just in case people get curious as to why 4 siblings are all street fighting. The twins are both 14 years old and are standing at 5"7 with a tough build for their age.
Daimon has Dark almost brunette hair that covers one of his eyes and only just brushes over his shoulder with deep Blue almost Teal Green eyes.
Deigo has lighter brunette hair with multiple highlights scattered around his long hair that goes past his eyes and ends up just below his shoulders. And he has a strong build for his age.
Geo has been underground fighting since he was 13 when our parents abandoned us. My older sister, Willow was 18 at the time and old enough to be our legal guardian. We barely got by, but we all pitched in to help. Geo usually came home from fighting with a minimum of 3 grand, he was a talented fighter and very experienced too he made a lot of money out of it. When I was growing up after our parents left us, I followed in Geo's footsteps and became a street fighter at the age of 13 as well.
I made some money to help out, but it wasn't as much as Geo did.
When the twins grew up, again at the age of 13, they started fighting, we all made at least 12 grand a week from it. The four of us only go back when Geo gets called out, he's part manager since he's been in Division for a whopping 5 years now, and he makes twice as much money as all of us put together. So now he pays for the bills and the twins and I pay for other necessary things like food, clothes, cars furniture, etc.
Also our older sister, Willow travels around the world because of her modelling carrier, so we hardly see her, but she mails us some money every month that we save for college. Willow is 23 years old and fresh out of College, she has long silky blonde strawberry hair that reaches her waist and blue eyes that stand out unusually from the crowd. She's 5'11 with a good build.
Being a street fighter isn't all fun and games, there are a lot of flaws to it, we get caught by the cops a decent amount of time for it to become marked on your permanent record , but we always pay them off and go back to finding another abandoned building and claiming it as the new headquarters for Division.
The bell rung twice loudly in my ear and the crowd watching started cheering like wild animals. I cleared my head of any thoughts and focused on my opponent standing in front of me. Cody smirked and winked at me before he got into his fighting stance. I masked my face of any emotion so it won't give away what I was feeling inside.
Cody and I circled each other, waiting for the first swing. It wasn't a surprise when Cody came at me attempting to tackle me over, but I was too fast and stepped to the side in time and let him run, he made a sudden stop before smashed into the nets, marking the barrier of the ring.
I turned around and faced him, swinging my fist out and connecting it with his jaw; he stumbled back a couple of steps from the impact and placed a hand on his jaw nursing it. He then composed himself and got back into his fighting stance, he then started throwing wild, but strong punches at me, which I dodged with ease.
I smirked watching Cody's face get more and more angry that his fist weren't colliding with any part of my body. He then made an unexpected kick to my side knocking me off balance and sending me flying across the ring, I blocked out the screaming pain and stood up, but was then kicked down again by a foot into my stomach.
Again and again and again, kick after kick, crack after crack, the pain was getting unbearable and I couldn't take it, I can feel my world closing in around me, shutting down, as if telling me that this fight is finished and I would be defeated, yet again. Just before I blacked out, I heard my brothers scream at me
"C'mon Sunset! Don't give up! He's nothing but fear, you can take him! We believe in you!"
Those words swirled inside my head and got a hold of my adrenaline; my body shot up and threw a punch straight at his nose. He was taken fully by surprise and by the time it took him to comprehend what was going on, I had him on the ground straddling him throwing punches anywhere I could get.
As the final punch knocked him out, I smirked and grinned widely in victory at the screaming crowd, I can feel my adrenaline wearing off and my senses shutdown and I was welcomed into a familiar pool of darkness.
