there was still shock running around the vains of the five people after what had happend. so they headed back to the beach and saftey, they didnt want to be anywhere near the cave at the moment.
John then went off to have a look at that old woodern sign they saw when they had crashed. he wanted to see if there was anything around the sign that might help them.
as he was doing that Abbey and Roger went down by the water to collect some water. Harry had some science knowledge so he knew how to clean the seawater.
Allison was looking for wood, hopeing to build a raft to get out of hear. but there wasn't much wood around and the trees where really high so she couldn't reach them.
"quick come over hear" John shouted but Abbey and Harry didn't hear him. they were still down by the water.
"Abbey, Harry come over hear now" he shouted even louder. they soon came running and asked him what was up.
"i've found something which might help us" he told them in a shallow voice
"but i don't know what it is" he added with a tone of worry in his voice. John picked it up. it was an old rotten piece of wood. just like the wood that the sign was made from. they looked at it in a odd way.
"look at the other side" said the little voice of Abbey.
"there is some writing on it" she added. John turned it around and read it. it said BEWARE OF THE FOUR LEGGED FRIEND!!!
