Chapter six: Reunion

Gumi's POV

I saw him. It was very unexpected to see my childhood friend!

"Hi, Haru! It's been a long time! You've grown so tall already!"

"Ugh, yeah. You too. So how's school?"

"Fine! It's my 2nd da-" I was cut off by Len.

"Hey,hey,hey. What's going on here?"

" *sigh* That guy is my childhood friend, Haru Aoi. Happy?" I was irritated by Len. But I didn't let it get to me cause he was kind to me the whole day.

"Oh, okay." But he mumbled something.

"You should've told me earlier!" And he pouted. But I just ignored him.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Len Kagamine."

"Yeah. Nice to meet you too. The name's Aoi Haru."

I've got a bad feeling about this.

Len's POV

That childhood friend of Gumi is so getting on my nerves. I already now what kind of attitude he has because of his face and his attitude. And I don't like it.

"Say, wanna join us, Haru?" Gumi said cheerfully. I slightly felt something.

"If it's okay with you guys." Aoi said while rolling his eyes. Damn that guy.

"It's fine by me! How 'bout you, Len?"

"Okay, for you, Gumi."

"Good! Shall we go, guys?"

[Timeskip: Going back home]

Gumi's POV

"Bye, Haru! Take care!" Aoi waved at me and i waved back at him. I saw Len was in the corner waiting for me.

"What's wrong, Len?"

"You and Aoi only had fun. I was like, left out. It was unfair. I ended up paying." He poo outed at me angrily.

"Okay,okay. What do you want me to do?" I asked.

"Call me cute." I blushed hard when he said that. That was stupid of me.

"W-what is this?! All of a sudden?! A-anyway.. I'll just call you cute. But don't get the wrong idea! You're not entirely cute!" I was yelling while blushing. This is really stupid of me.

"Ok. Just say it."

"Hmph! Len, y-you're c-c-cute. Happy now?"

"Yeah. You made my day. I'm like the happiest person in the world right now."

"R-really?" I asked nervously.

"Yup!" Len smiled with a little blush on his face.

"Speaking of 'cute', did you said that I was cute while I was sleeping?"

"Umm! T-that was..o-okay! I said that you were cute while sleeping.." Now, Len is blushing hard and his hair is covering his face. I was blushing a little cause he's the first guy that said I was cute.

"W-well..thank you too."

Len's POV

What?! She thanked me?! I thought she's gonna be mad or something..

"Umm, let's go home! And is it okay if I walk you home?"

"Yeah. It's okay. Well, let's go."

Yes! Score! I get to walk her home! After a few minutes of walk, we were almost at Gumi's home.

"I'm fine here, Len. Thanks."

"No. I'll still walk with you. Because I feel something bad."

"Huh? What? All of a sudden? Oh nevermind, let's just go." As we walk nearer to her house, I felt something around my back, so I tried to turn into another direction to see if he's gonna do something to Gumi. He quickly grabbed Gumi's hand and went to another direction, but near to mine.

"Let go! You pervert!" Gumi shouted at the guy. Seriously Gumi. Aren't you I afraid what will the guy say to you? But I went to their direction towards that guy and Gumi.

"Heh. Just as I thought."

"Huh? What do you want, brat?" The guy said and let go of Gumi's hand.

"Say, what are you gonna do to her? Gonna do something perverted? Oh yeah, cause you're a pervert. All perverts do that stuff."

"You tryin' to pick a fight, kid?"

"Wanna go for it?"

"Heh. You've got the gutz to say that." He was the first to punch me almost in the face but I dodged it. And elbowed him in the chest.

"Too slow." I said and glared at him. He was already lying on the ground.

"You'll pay for this!"

"Try. You'll get more than that. And if you or any of your guys will try to put a hand on my friend. You'll be dead." I finished it with a death glare. I helped Gumi up and left that idiot guy for messing me up.

Gumi's POV

Wow. It's the firsttime I saw Len like this. But he saved me. But Len was still holding my hand to get away from the place that they fought to avoid the guy.

"Umm.. Len? We're okay now." Then Len stopped and let go of my hand.

"Be careful, okay?" He already had a concerned look on his face.
Then he waved at me and walked away. But I pulled his hand to get his attention.

"W-what?" Len asked nervously.

"Thank you for all the things that you did today. Especially when you saved me. I will never forget that."

"U-uhh.. No prob!" I hugged him tightly just to repay him even a little, with a slight hope if he will hug back.

"Thank you too, for all the kind thibgs that you said to me even though we just met two days ago." Then he hugged me back with a smile and a little blush on his face.

"Well gotta go now. Bye Gumi! Be safe from strangers!" Then he waved at me while running. This was a very fun but a little weird day but mostly fun. Thank you, Len.
