Chapter seven: New student

Gumi's POV

As of what happened yesterday, I was still bothered by it and decided to train myself for self defense, so I won't depend on Len anymore. I woke up early and locked my door and went to school with my complete uniform, and of course. I brought my new manga. Ohh, i can't wait to finish chapter 13! After ten minutes, I finally arrived at school. Although, I bumped into someone. Again. And the books she was carrying was on the ground. I quickly helped her.

"I'm so sorry! Here I'll help you." I gave her books with a smile, she was also pretty, she had blue eyes.

"No, it's okay. I wasn't looking where I was going, but thanks for the help!" I realized that she also had a manga and it was.. Last game!!! And it's chapter 14!!

"Are you a fan of Last game too?!" I asked excitedly.

"Yeah! I love it so much!!!"

"Wow.." I finally have someone who has the same taste as me. But I've never seen her here before. Maybe she's a new student!

"Umm, I haven't seen you before, so are you a new student?"

"Yup! Umm, since we bumped into each other, can we walk together? I feel nervous.." She said shyly.

"Of course! I felt like at when I was a new student. Well, shall we go?"

"Okay..thank you..but, before we go what is your name?"

"I'm Gumi Fujitsuka! Nice to meet you!" I said happily.

"I-I'm Natsume Kiriyama.. n-nice to meet you too.." After introducing ourselves we went to our classrooms.

"Oh, I haven't asked. Which class are you, Natsume?"

"I-I'm on class 1-3C.."

"What?! That's my class! Yay! We're classmates!"

"R-really? I'm happy! Oh, there it is! Let's go." We went to our classroom just in time. And I went to my seat, and Ma'am Chelsea called Natsume so she could introduce herself to us.

"Good morning class! We have a new student! Again. Natsume, please come in and introduce yourself to us."

"Y-yes Ma'am. Goodmorning, everyone..M-my name is Natsume Kiriyama..N-nice to meet you.." After she introduced herself to us, I heard murmurs like, oh man! She's so cute! Wanna ask her out? Ohmygod! SO cute!! Seriously. Is this the first time they saw someone like this? But I'm not jealous, really.

"Now would you please pick your seat, Ms. Kiriyama." Ma'am Chelsea said with a smile as always.

"T-thank you Ma'am.." She went and poo picked her seat. She was next to me! Yay!! I'm so happy! ≧▽≦

"H-hi Gumi.." She said with a smile. Okay, she is cute!!! ∩(︶▽︶)∩

"Hello, hope you're gonna have fun here."

"T-thank you Gumi."

[Timeskip: Lunch]

I went to the cafeteria and ordered sandwich and a juice. I went to find where I will sit.

"Oii! Gumi! Over here!" I saw Hatsuka and Natsume. Hmm. So that's what it is. I have three friends now! Yes! I went to their seat and unpacked my bento (lunchbox).

"Hey, Gumi, can we change lunchboxes? I kinda don't like my food right now." Hatsuka said to me while Natsume was listening to us.

"Why? Vegetables are healthy! You should eat them!"

"Then why aren't you accepting it? Hmm?" Hatsuka said sarcastically.

"I'm not in the mood of eating vegetables right now. But I eat vegetables, unlike you."

"Oh c'mon, Gumi! Have mercy!" Hatsuka already had puppy eyes.

"Oh, fiiine. But only half of it."

"Yay!! Thanks Gumi!" I noticed that Natsume is the only one quiet. Maybe she was still shy because she's still new here. So I changed the topic.

"Hey, Natsume, do you watch anime?"

"Y-yes..I actually love watching anime." Finally! I have an otaku buddy to talk anime with!

"Huh? Me too! I love cosplaying my favorite anime characters. We talked about anime until it was signalled to go back to our classrooms.

[Time skip: Going home]

Len's POV

Hmm...where's Gumi? I thought she was with her friends. But I can't see her. Oh, she's at the gate! Yes! I can go home with her!

"Hey Gum-" I was cut off 'cause I saw that Haru guy.

"Oh, hey Len! Wanna go home together? I was just talking with Haru a minute ago." Said Gumi while walking towards me.

"Yeah let's go."

After a few seconds of walk, I already said what was on my mind to Gumi.

"Um,sorry to ask all of a sudden, but what did you and Haru talked about?"

"Oh we just talked about how our school days were going and other stuffs."

"Ok.." Gumi bid farewell to me 'cause her house is up ahead. I didn't walked her by her house 'cause I still have something to do. Although, another thing popped into my mind.

What did she mean by 'other stuffs'?
