Year 1, age 11

      “Farrah, where are you dear we need to get you to Hogwarts express” My mother barked. “Im up here mum, give me a second please” I yelled at my closed door, loud enough so she could hear me. “Ok, but hurry, we don't need to be late” She snapped.

        I sat on my suitcase, closing all my belongings. I zipped up my bag, and said “Fair well” to my half empty room. It actually looked clean for once! Thats a shocker.

       “Farrah, are you done?” She barked once again. “Yes mum, I’m coming, no need for your yelling” I said dragging my suit case down the steps, so that the wheels made a sound as I pulled it down each step. “Farrah Grace Juilliard! Stop all that bloody racket ,and get down here” My mum stomped. “Im down here, lets go” I said laughing.

      “Nine and three quarters, Nine and three quarters” I said to my self looking around. “Over here” My dad called. “Coming” I  hollered back. I grabbed my cart, which had my suit case, my owl;Triton, and my wand. 

       I pushed my cart to my father. “Im going to miss you angel” He said kissing the top of my head. “Ill miss you too, Daddy” I blurted ,and hugged him. I let lose of his grip and waved goodbye to my mother,father, and my sisters Jedda and Pompeii. 

      I took a good grasp of my cart’s handle,and backed up. I took a deep breath,and ran. I eventually got to Nine and three quarters, after passing through the bricks. I looked at all the students around me. There were some dresses in black robes, and some in casual wear. I would be the one in casual.

      “Hello, umm, excuse me, but I’m Hermione, Hermione Granger.” She said holding out her hand. “Hi, Farrah Juilliard” I smiled. “Well Farrah, would you like to sit with me on the bus?” She said tucking her brown, crimped, wavy hair behind her ear. “I’d be delighted” I giggled. “Come on then, we don’t want to miss the train you know” She said taking my hand and dragging me onto the Hogwarts Express.

     “Ooh, this seat isn’t taken lets sit here” She said laughing. I smiled at her and sat down. A girl sat across from us. She had bleach blonde hair, perfectly white teeth, and gorgeous green eyes. “Gemma” Hermione said to the girl. “This is Farrah” She introduced. “Oh, well hello Farrah, Im Gemma Tollings” She smiled. “Nice to meet you” I smiled. “So girls, what house do you want to be put into?” Hermione asked, her huge eyes sparkling as the light hit them. “ Umm, not to be rude,but what house?” I asked. “It’s ok, your new, housing is where they put you into a family basically, there is Griffindor, Hufflepuff, RavenClaw, and Slytherin” She shook as she said Slytherin. “I want to be in Griffindor” She said with her head held high. “I want to be in hufflepuff” Gemma said, then giggled. “I haven’t learned much about them, so I'm not sure which one I want” I said smirking and looking down. “It’s ok Farrah, I know you will get a good house” She said patting my leg,and smiling. 

       “Excuse me, but have you seen a toad?” I boy with brown, parted hair said peeking in our compartment. “No, sorry, would you like me to help you look?” Hermione asked him. “Sure, thanks, Oh, by the way, I’m Neville Longbottom” He said smiling. His crooked teeth peaked out of his lips. I smiled back. “Im Gemma Tollings, and thats Farrah Juilliard” Gemma cut in. “Nice to meet you both, but I’m in a hurry, talk to you later” He said walking off with Hermione. “Im going to go get some chocolate frogs, want any Farrah?” Gemma asked me standing up. “Yes, i’ll try one if you don’t mind.” I said smiling at her. “Not at all, be right back” She left.

       “Eh, you, do you know where that Potter kid is, Malfoy wants to speak with him?” I girl with short cut Black hair, with bangs, asked me impolitely. “Umm, no, sorry” I said putting my hair behind my ear. “Ugh” She said then trotted off to the cart next to ours. “Pansy, just stop I already talked to that git, Potter” A boy with blonde hair, that was slicked back, said. “Fine, have it your way” She said, then stuck her nose in the air and went back to her cart. “Goyle, Crabbe, lets find a cart. I pretended to be asleep so this boy wouldn’t end up talking to me.

       “Here, sit” He said. I soon felt a body beside mine ,and I could feel the hot breath hitting my skin from the boy sitting across from me. “Is she asleep Draco” The boy sitting beside me asked. “I don’t know Goyle, and frankly I don’t give a-‘’ The boy from beside me said, but most likely got cut off. “Who are you and why are you sitting in our cart?” Gemma’s voice chimed. “Draco” The boy across from me said. “Goyle” The boy next to me replied. “Crabbe” The boy sitting next to Goyle said. “Well, why are you here?” She asked them. “It was empty so we took it, so why don’t you get your little mud-blood friend over here and get out” Draco said. As soon as I heard the word ‘MudBlood’ come out of his mouth, I sprung up like I heard a bullhorn in my face. “Don’t you call me a mud-blood, you stupid git!” I yelled. “ I had a feeling you weren’t asleep” he smirked. “Well, we can share I guess” Gemma said. “Fine” Draco said and sat back in his seat.

     “Neville couldn’t find his toad” Hermione said frowning as she looked into our cart. Her frown got worse when she saw Draco and his crew. “Why is he here” Hermione blurted. “Funny, I was thinking the same thing” He said smirking. “Im a girl!” Hermione hissed.

     “Come on we are at Hogwarts” I smiled. We all got into boats, and headed to the large castle above. It was so tall, huge, and well pleasant.
