Why is it that everyone I choose to love
Leaves
Gets pulled away from the world I love
Is so weakened and no matter how hard I try to help pull them in
They let go

Why is the outside world of hate, deception and anger so enticing?
Do you not see the unhappiness you are in
I do not understand why you would leave something so warm and inviting, with the greatest hope of all
