We rounded a corner and when we thought we lost them we turned to face a bigger problem. I froze dead in my tracks and so did Shawn. My eyes grew wide and my jaw dropped my hands started to shake as 4 pairs of eyes stared back at me. A set of Brown, green, and 2 blue. I slowly backed away and I bumped into Shawn. I felt him touch my shoulder then he wrapped his arms around my waist protectively and pull me closer. The 4 boys in front of us looked stunned. My hands shook more and Shawn noticed. He held them tight to stop them. Louis looked at me, then Shawn, then his hands. It was just a silent stare down. "Sk-skyler?" Niall asked. I hesitantly nodded. Tears threatened to release from my eyes and fall. But I stayed strong. I stood upright and grabbed Shawns hands.

"If you'll e-excuse us I must get home." I said choking up a little. Shawn and I tried to push past their barrier but to no avail. Louis grabbed my arm. "Louis let go." I growled.

"No. Can we please talk?" I pulled away from his grasp and back into Shawns arms.

"I don't think that's the best idea." I looked down at my shoes.

"Please." I looked up at his pleading eyes then back at my shoes.

"No." I mumbled. "I left to get away and I don't want to go back." Not wanting to go back was a lie. I loved him. I gritted down on my teeth. My lie detector.

"I know you're lying. I can see you biting down." Louis said. I turned to Shawn and looked up at him.

"Shawn I'll see you later. Ok?" He looked at me then the boys then back at me.

"Are you sure?" No.

"Yes." He nodded. He bent down and kissed me (in friendly way) on the cheek. He let go of his protective grip and headed to his car. I looked up at Louis. His jaw was clenched and his hands were in fists. He didn't like that at all. "Ok. Talk." I said. I stood so all my weight was on one foot and my arms were crossed.

"Not here." Louis said. "Back at the hotel." I groaned slightly as we started walking. It was awkward. No one said a word. As we walked I slipped away from Louis' side and next to Niall. I felt safer with him. He looked down at me and smiled softly.

"Glad to see you again." He whispered. I nodded.

"You too, I guess." We both looked back in front of us and continued to walk till we reached a hotel.

We went to Louis' room and he pulled me inside leaving the other boys outside. I followed him to the couch and we sat down. "Look Skyler I'm sorry." He spoke.

"You really think sorry is gonna fix this?!" I said harshly. "It's been about a year and a half now Louis!"

"I know. I tried so hard to find you but it's like you left the earth. I really had a tough time with being away from you." His eyes filled with pain and tears. It broke my heart. But he broke mine.

"Louis I don't know." He grabbed my hands and made me look into his eyes.

"Skyler please. One more chance." He begged. "I miss you." He stood up. "And I'm gonna prove it to you." He grabbed my hands and pulled me into a room with a big black piano. He sat me down next to him and he began to play it. Then he softly started singing. I recognized the words instantly. "If I could fly, I'd be coming right back home to you

This part came and tears filled my eyes.

LOUIS' POV
During the song she sang and our voices collided making it sound amazing. This was the missing piece to the song. It was missing her. Once I was done she started crying and I pulled her into me. I wrapped my arms around her fragile body. She looked up me with her gorgeous eyes. "Louis, I love you."

"I love you too." I leaned in and our lips collided together. I longed for this. I missed the Sparks I felt when we kissed. I missed everything about her. When we pulled away she regained her poseur. I wiped away her tears with my thumb. "Be mine again?" I asked intertwining our fingers and holding up our hands. She nodded.

"Forever and always." I smiled big and hugged her tight. "One question."

"Yea?"

"Where did you find my words?" I smirked.

"Let's just say Nikki is an amazing person." We both smiled. "Now my question. Why are you covered in paint?" She giggled.

"Shawn and I were messing around." My body tensed up. "I promise. Only friends." I relaxed.

"Good." We sat together for a while in silence. Her arms around my torso and her head on my  shoulder. My arms around her waist and my head on hers. I was so happy to have her back
