Louis and I made arrangements to have our small gathering on the roof of an apartment building. It was the tallest in the city and had a wonderful view. The park below was a having a party so they were going to shoot fire works. Everything was perfect. At the moment Louis and I were setting up the blankets, chairs and pillows for us to sit on. "Louis hurry up!" I yelled from the top of the stairs. "You have the keys!" I heard him groan.

"I have a handful of blankets and pillows! It's hard to walk up stairs!" He whined. I had some chairs and more blankets and pillows and I made it up fine.

"Come on." I saw him round and head up the last flight.

"Why didn't we take the elevator?" He said while try to get the key to the door.

"Because it didn't come all the way up and we need the exercise." We've been eating and sitting around all month." He opened the door and we walked out onto the roof in the cold winter air. We started setting up and in no time we were done.

"Come here." He said pulling me into him. We looked out over the city and how everything was shaped and formed the way it was. It was amazing. Louis looked down at me and I looked up at him. He leaned down and our lips met. It wasn't the jackets warming me up anymore it was the kiss. We just melted into each other like it wasn't even the slightest bit cold out. After a good bit I started to push him away laughing.

"Louis. Louis. Not now. We are on a roof. Take it easy." He frowned.

"Sorry. I can't control myself around you." I blushed.

"Come on let's go." I said tugging him to the door.

"But I like it up here." He whined.

"Louis come on." He groaned and gave in following me back down the stairs.

That night everyone gathered on the roof for a little party. Louis and I were in a chair. I was sitting on his lap snuggled under a blanket. It was freezing to be California. "Hey Liam lad, do me a favor and hand me my drink." Louis said. He left his drink on the ledge before we sat down and Liam was closest to it. Liam stood up reaching for the drink when instead he knocked it over the edge on accident. Liam looked over the side and we all went silent. Then we heard it hit the bottom and some people scream. Liam looked up laughed.

"It landed in front of some people below." He said still laughing. I gasped.

"Well apologize!" I said. He leaned over and yelled down.

"Sorry it was an accident!" I shook my head.

"No wonder you boys get kicked out of places." Everyone laughed. Liam gave me a glare then laughed along.

Midnight crept closer and we were a snuggled up in blankets and with each other. "Guys, whoever you are with when midnight strikes is who you stay with all year long." Nikki spoke.

"Then I wanna be with you guys." Harry said. "Forever and ever." We all awed at his words and I checked my phone.

"Ok guys. Ready?" Everyone nodded and we started counting down. "5... 4... 3... 2... 1... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!" We all cheered as fireworks shot into the air. Louis cupped my face in his hands.

"I love you."

"I love you too." He pulled my in and out lips moved together and sparks shot through me. This is who I wanted to stay with, and nothing could break us apart.

Hey guys!!! Omg I'm SO sorry I haven't updated! My phone is broken and 1. It said I had no storage so I couldn't write and 2. Every Time I tried to do anything on the app in crashed. But guess what it's fixed and I updated!! Yay!!!

Ok so I've decided along with KristinElmore16 that there will be another book it will be called Together Forever and it will be more focused on Louis but it will still have Skyler and the boys.
